~Watched my nieces and my nephews
~Made crafts with my nieces and nephew
~Cleaned the kitchen

Today it's my Birthday so spending it with the family.... Got the cutest voice recording on WhatsApp from my 4 year old Nephew singing Happy Birthday!

Happy birthday, Miss Laura!

Well, I wanted to go to Torrid's store in San Jose. Torrid is a plus size women's clothing company. I bought a skirt that I liked from ThredUp (=an online consignment store) and looked up the brand and size - so, Torrid, 1X. I then found them online and bought a night shirt and another skirt, to be delivered to the store in San Jose as I did not want to pay for shipping (it is free to pick up from a store) and also wanted to browse in an actual store. I need a night shirt because my roommate is going to come back (he is currently living with his ex wife) and I will have to stop walking naked around the place. And, I need skirts because I have found, through trial and error, that skirts and loose tops sort of hide my tummy. So I want to go pick up the clothes, my I was too tired for that and instead went home to drink liquids and cook dinner. I will go to the store tomorrow.

As an aside, it is exciting that there is now inexpensive clothing for plus size women.

Trying to go to church with son.... Update later

Made it all ready to go early. Nobody else here but student organist.

Washed dishes, have laundry started...that may be it for the day

I went to church early, sang in the choir with my son then went downtown for walking exercise and lunch. Then we saw the art museum too.

did more laundry. started putting things in bags for tomorrow. tried to do a crafty thing with kids but when I went to the bathroom they decided to add food coloring and now we all have blue hands. did taxes.

Went with friends to AA meeting, then out for Mexican, then to the park for a walk, then to the coffee shop...good day.

That sounds like a good day indeed.

Went to church after a year of being afraid to be there. My neighbor was there and we had a nice chat. Pastor was happy to see me too.

- went to a plus size women's clothing store, for the first time. Bought strategic pieces: a red (!) midi pencil skirt, a grey maxi skirt, a black cardigan, and two pairs of leggings for yoga and weekend wear: one is dark grey and the other is black with faux leather seam panels. The skirts are too wrinkled to wear to work tomorrow, so I tossed them in the hamper to wash and dry next weekend, but I will wear the cardigan soon. Did laundry. Had a nice conversation with my aunt. Saw my dad on Skype and showed him my hair dyed red - it was fun (the red is subdued and not bright). Email with Joe (a bp friend). Made chicken salad. Made cucumber salad. Cooked buckwheat. Wrote a short grocery shopping list. Postponed cooking soup and washing dishes till tomorrow.
