Home from my camping trip. We had a lot of fun. Weather was beautiful but a bit chilly the first night. It was good to be able to relax and unplug. I was ready to come home to running water and my comfy bed though lol.

Felt pretty decent most of yesterday, except when I started to get tired intrusive thoughts kept coming at me. I keep worrying about harming someone, even though I don't want to or plan to. Someone told me it sounds like OCD, but it seems like a new, recent symptom in the past year for me. The thoughts make me spiral a little mentally, but I didn't let it get too far.

I am exhausted today. I slept 7 hours, but it feels like I got no rest. 7:20 AM, and I have no idea how I will get through the day. I scheduled curbside grocery pickup for 8 AM today, and now, I'm like why? I will have vegetables to prep, produce to wash. Ugh. I had a hard time dragging myself awake in time to make lunches for H and my daughter and take care of the cats.

I am hoping after I get the groceries taken care of, I can lie down for a nap. It's just one of those days...

I have Valium that’s probably over a year past date and it’s perfectly good and works the same.

Big Pharma WANTS people to think meds expire will just cause people to toss it and get a new prescription.

Your old meds are just fine
Haven't died yet, so... sounds about right.

Sucks that big pharma tries to f*** us over. As if they didn't charge enough for their meds already.

My Klonopin didn't work anyway, so whatever. I have no reason to take it. I stayed up all night feeling agitated. I wanted to punch someone or someTHING. Damn self harmed, but not in the traditional sense. I don't leave scarring, just bruising from punching and hitting, and kicking. Violence, basically.

I used to have my groceries delivered when I lived in downtown Boston. I once ordered them to deliver during a blizzard-hurricane (no exaggeration, as we get one of those dangerous things every year) by mistake because I ordered 2 weeks in advance -- and they STILL came. I felt so bad that I gave him a $50 tip. You literally could barely see in front of you when you walked. These people are dedicated! AND the guy walked the groceries up the steps into my apartment. Wow! We ended up with nearly 5 feet of snow by the end of the day, and luckily he went in the morning around 6am when there was like 1 foot on the ground.

I respect these guys so much. They really do work hard.

Sorry that you had trouble with groceries, though. hopefully you can sneak a good nap in

Got the groceries taken care of, drank a bit of coffee, seems like I've woken up a little.

Curbside isn't grocery delivery. You drive to the store, park, and they load the order into your car. Since money is tight, I have to grocery shop at Super Wal-mart, which at least their curbside pickup is always free. Other grocery stores around will waive the pickup fee the first few orders, but then you have to pay, I think around $5.

And I did need groceries. I'd planned on making salads with ravioli tonight, and I was out of lettuce & all veggies except tomatoes. I tend to choose the 8 AM pickup because I drop my daughter off at school around 7:45, and it takes around 10 minutes to get to the store.

On the positive, this curbside option prevents me from making impulse buys while shopping, especially if I need something like toothpaste in the pharmacy section while nearly all the groceries are on the complete opposite side of the store, and then I end up walking past all different sections, seasonal, books, DVDs, etc.

Yesterday hubby and I went to the beach. At first I didn't feel like going, but by the time we got there I was happy we had gone. It was beautiful and not crowded at all, as expected. On our way, we were yapping a lot and then suddenly my husband was like "Why are we still on this highway?" The GPS was for some reason set for my husband's eye doctor in Philadelphia. The route to the beach is partially on the same highway, but we had long since past the exit to head in that direction. We were only 20 minutes from Philly. We had to turn around and start heading east. We ended up going to a beach further south than originally planned.

I have yearned for more and more sleep lately. My usual 7 to 9 hours has been regularly 9 to even 10. On weekdays I still try to get up to make breakfast before hubby leaves. This morning he woke up early, so made breakfast and his lunch. I appreciated it. I feel fine now. I was doing a lot of cleaning up until 15 minutes ago. I'm resting. It's a beautiful day again. I want to get outside again, but also want to make homemade apple strudel later today.

How can we beat ourselves up less for not “achieving” what we think a “normal” person would “achieve”?

I know, for me, the “family” beat me up (emotionally and physically). And this did NOT “help” me to “achieve” more....

But I still beat myself up ...........

So... would beating myself up about not “achieving” more help me to “achieve” more? :scratch head:

I didn’t know this. I was wondering about some old Seroquel which was prescribed about 2 years ago and which “expired” last month. And another box of Seroquel which “expired” 2 months ago.

This post is helpful to me as I was stressing wondering whether to go to the dr. To ask for some more

Oh no! Awoke in early AM with a very sore throat and a cough. H has it, too, even worse! I am on daily prednisone which puts me more at risk for these viral infections. So many people have this, or something like it, right now! There's no escaping it!

I hope everyone has a good day!

Contemplating how to break my depression and stupid hallucinations (bells again) to my pdoc. A bit afraid of increasing meds because of my tremor, a bit afraid of not because I'm tired of being asleep most of the day and hearing a dozen different door bells that aren't there. See the doc in a few days.

Oh, and definitely not interested in a trip to the hospital! Don't think folks around me would be very supportive...

Im thinking ive got a cold. I thought it was allergies but its lingering if that makes sense. The allergy meds are doing nothing.

Not much went on. Got a nap. Paid the rent and water. Phone due tomorrow.

Upside found a cool historical (1986) video on youtube about the history of walt disney world. So fun!
