Saw Ortho guy today

I have a frozen shoulder, so I got a shoulder injection and a order for PT twice a week that I absolutely can’t afford to go too.

So I will have to do exercises on my own to “ defrost “ it myself, hopefully.

My mood is all over the place I will call it a low mixed type “soup”

I finally see my T tomorrow, it’s been a month! So hard to go from weekly to that but again money is always a problem.

No need for me to whine about everythinggggggg. Who would want to hear it all the time anyway???

Things could ALWAYS be worse. It’s good to remember that for myself.

Positive thoughts bring hope.

“Fake it til ya make it” motto of the day.

Hugs to anyone needing them

I am glad you'd seen the ortho today!
So glad you do not need surgery!
Yet, so sorry you have a frozen shoulder! They hurt very badly! I have had one. OUCH! OUCH! OUCH!

Lots of helpful exercises for frozen shoulders online.

You have been going through a lot! I don't mind hearing you complain. You rarely complain!

I just got word about half an hour ago that my dad has died. His neighbour called the police to do a wellness check and they found him dead in his home. I'm in shock. The last time I saw him he looked to be in good health.

Have you heard anything about your husband's interview. I'm also sorry about his extended family.
Still haven't heard about H's interview, but he got an interesting email today. While mechanical engineering at the university wanted to do a nationwide search for a candidate (H can re-apply then), the industrial engineering department heard he'd had an interview there and emailed him asking him to take a look at the courses for industrial engineering and get back to them on what he thinks. H is not sure if they have an opening there, if the professor pushing for him in mechanical engineering spoke to someone or if the provost over the engineering department (who seems to like H), said something to the industrial side. H does know some people in the industrial department; 2 years ago he did a program where high school teachers of underprivileged high school students could do a 5 week internship with pay at this university, and it was the industrial side of the engineering department that got H set up. So who knows? From what H has told me, a lot of his skills transfer over to the industrial side of engineering better thna mechanical.

And it would be good to hear about his interview on Friday.

Sometimes, I feel like God wants us to have the patience of Job or something as much as we've just had to wait and see with H's career. It has pretty much been constant for over 14 years except the last few, where his high school teacher position is secure, doesn't pay great, and has health insurance getting worse every year.

Yes, it is too bad about H's cousin. It's hard for a lot of people out there right now.

Deepest sympathies.

You have had so very much to deal with even before this most recent event.

Love and prayers for you and yours.

I went to move one of my custom Maglites and all hell broke loose.
They are in the top shelf above my desk.
The Mags hit the Surefires in the lower two shelves.
Surefires and Mags tumbled down to my desk. And fell into my eCig collection.
And all together to the floor, which is tile. With my help, of course, trying to catch some.

Net loss over 1k. Some pieces were custom made for me and the builder croacked.
So I'll never have at least one of 'em again.

Now the positive in the negative:
I came out of Cuba with three set of clothes, including the one I had on.
The maximun allowed by the Castro regime. And no money. Not even a quarter.

I still have more than 400 flashlights and more than 100 eCigs left.
The Superior Power has been kind to me.

I have to be thankful. And more careful. That's all.

Cheers.

Complain away; you seem to be having a rough time. I am so glad you don't have to have surgery. I'm sorry your shoulder has to be defrosted, that sounds incredibly painful. I wish you well at the T appointment.
