I am down another pound. 4 more to go! I'm sticking with my eating plan and I'm finding it easy to manage so far. I haven't really given up anything and I'm eating plenty. I've found some really satisfying breakfast and lunch options that are low calorie and leave me with room to eat pretty much whatever for dinner. We rarely eat out, so most of the food I make is fairly healthy. I made fresh pesto from the basil I grew this summer last night and had it over pasta with grilled chicken and veggies. It was awesome and I'm looking forward to leftovers for dinner tonight.
Hugs to everyone working on or struggling with their physical health. |

That's wonderful that you are doing so well and almost to your goal, fern. I would love it if you would share a few of the breakfast ideas you mentioned. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and yet one I find hard to plan when I'm on an eating plan. I tend to wake up very hungry in the morning and like things that are either prepped the night before, or quick to put together. I do tend to prefer "sweeter" breakfasts, but I should try to add a few savory ones just for variety. |

I've been off my eating plan since we lost our pet. At first I wasn't off it too much, but these past few days stress has made me overeat stuff I wasn't even buying before.

I also like multigrain or wheat English muffins with peanut butter I make from the chocolate PB2 powder. PB2 is only 50 calories compared to 190 for regular peanut butter. I usually pair that with a cup of grapes. I like the Simple Truth Honey Almond Flax cereal with light vanilla almond milk on cereal days. I like breakfast burritos for savory days. I make them with whole wheat or high fiber tortillas, egg whites, turkey sausage and salsa. Just a couple of ideas... |

Thanks so much for sharing your breakfast usuals! I will look for the Kind cereal you mentioned. I need to buy the smaller high fiber tortillas. I only have big ones I used for dinners.

You're welcome! OLE makes a high fiber tortilla that is 50 calories and smaller than the burrito size, but a little bigger than a soft taco. They do not make the best quesadilla tortillas, but I use them for tacos, wrap sandwhiches and breakfast burritos.

I went to a cemetery today, and just walked around. For some reason, visiting a cemetery, and just spending hours around the place makes me happy.

I'm sorry you are hurting. I find so much comfort in taking a shower. I can't imagine it being painful. I hope the pain subsides soon and you are able to enjoy the rest of your day.

I've been feeling run down and achy the past few days. I've taken on a number of painting projects around my house and my body always seems to react after a while of inhaling paint fumes. I'm keeping everything well ventilated, but I am quite sensitive to the chemicals. I have so much more to paint, but I am going to take a break for a few days to recover.
I've been keeping up with my exercise and eating well. I hope to push through and keep it up even though my energy feels low this week. I know I'll get back into a rut if I allow myself to slow down while I am feeling sluggish. Hopefully the exercise will help get me back to good. I'm drinking a lot of extra water too to help flush out the chemicals. How is everyone else doing? I am wishing you all health in every aspect. |

I feel for all people with nerve and other types of stubborn persistent pain. I always wish there was a good remedy. I offer hugs, if that is at all helpful. My husband has peripheral neuropathy and experiences pain from that.

I am starting a new "lifestyle" today. (Again.)
Low carb with intermittent fasting,, if I can do it. With all of the extra stress in my life, I have had to take Seroquel. I am gaining weight on it. I have to go in the other direction with weight or my clothes will not fit! I had started walking and then injured my foot approx 10 days ago. It is very painful. I have to use a crutch if/when I go outside of the house. I see Ortho tomorrow. we'll see. I think it's plantars fasciitis; if so, it will take a long time to heal. ![]() My psoriatic arthritis inflames many tendons throughout the body. I also have tennis elbow and some condition in my shoulder I am trying to do the best I can manage with diet for now. ![]() ![]() ![]()

WC, that's a lot to deal with physically. I'm sorry you are in pain. It also stinks the meds are affecting your weight. I was also going in the wrong direction, but managed to turn it around. We're here for you. Thank you for sharing the start of your journey with us!

I weighed in today and I only lost .2 of a pound. I wish I had met my weekly goal, but I am grateful I was able to maintain what I've already lost.
I feel much better after a day away from the paint. I pushed through the circuit training yesterday and then got some extra exercise in during a trip to the pool. I woke up feeling mostly normal and the swelling in my face is gone. My brother is battling cancer and he hasn't been able to be as active as he normally is lately. Instead, he has been keeping up with my journey and supporting me along the way. I will see him this weekend for the first time in months. It will be great to give him a hug and thank him in person for all of the encouragement he has offered while I struggled to get things under control again. He has also been a huge support while I came to grips with the fact I have something wrong mentally. I am so fortunate to have him in my life. I have been supporting him while he deals with his cancer diagnosis and it has been wonderful to grow closer during what has been the worst times of both of our lives. Silver linings help with the acceptance of everything. |

0.2 lbs down is a loss, in my book. Not just maintenance. I have found that other factors contribute to lower losses in some weeks, and bigger ones in others. |

You and WC are right. It is a tiny loss, but still a loss. I am grateful and definitely not discouraged. The last few pounds always seem to be the hardest. |
