I was feeling very ill. My goal today was simply to just make it through the day. The universe had other things in mind! I was given quite a gift today, for which I am very thankful!

This must be so very disconcerting, in so many ways

I am so very sorry.

I am sure she could not have a more loving partner than you.

We are here for you.

Wednesdays are my craziest day each week. I drive my kids to two different schools and pick them up and then I try to get a lot done while I have down time while they are in school. I'm laying on the couch relaxing for a minute before I rock out my circuit training. The dishes are done now and the laundry is in progress. So far, so good!

I saw you are taking a me day. Good for you! You've had a run of busy days and it is healthy to take a break every now and again.

Yesterday, I managed to clean up some of my bedroom and organize it after building my new shelving and moving some of my collections to the new shelving. That basically gave me room to set up my new TV, so I set that up along with my 4K Blu-Ray player that I've had laying around for over a year. Only problem is that I don't have an HDMI cord to connect the 4K Blu-Ray player to my TV, so it's coming in the mail (hopefully) today from Amazon.

My plan is to hook up everything to the TV and get it up and running. (Shouldn't be too difficult.) Then tomorrow, I'll be getting my new shelving, so I'll set that up so I can further organize my place.

I also have plans to build my shoe rack that I never built. It's been sitting in a box in my storage closet since February 2018. lol. So that has to be built because I'm running out of space to put my shoes!

Haven't gotten to cleaning my bathroom yet, I ended up cleaning one of my closets but I'm about to start right after I post this. My showerhead broke yesterday so I'll have to have maintenance stop by.

I did get some groceries without buying a bunch of junk food.

Goal for today is to read a lot and clean my bathroom

Blue bird congrats on the groceries, it's so easy to buy junk food cause it all right there at eye level.

Thanks! Yeah, it's very tempting. I think having an idea or list of exactly what I want before I go into the store helps, so I don't even let myself stare at the junk food because once I start looking and thinking about it it's hard to stop myself lol, much easier to just bypass it entirely and pretend it's not there

I'm so excited that I got my cable TV working!!! What a pain in the @ss it was. Had to dig through the utility boxes in my apartment and take apart the outlet by my bedroom TV to find out what was going on.

I don't understand why I have 7 coax cables in an apartment that can only have 2 live at any point in time. But yep, figured it out. I'm glad I'm not paying $59.99 to Comcrap to "professionally install" my cable TV. I just saved myself $59.99. I spent more time on it than I wanted to, but I saved myself $59.99, so I consider that a win.

So now my goal for tomorrow is to continue cleaning up my apartment. I didn't do as much of that as I wanted to.

My goal is to just get through each day, each day. Worrying about things beyond my control gets me nowhere.
