Hello to all! Your posts encourage me. Thank you!

I have another day of paper work and calls to be made. I might catch a break from this sometime soon. I am currently on a short break and am making sure I am drinking enough water. I tend to forget and then feel dehydrated, which is ayucky feeling! Up from the desk and stretching! I intend to go for a walk this afternoon, on my next break.
I will be seeing my PT/chiropractor tomorrow; I think I have a pinched nerve in my spine.

I hope everyone is having a great day!

Thanks. But in all fairness, I took 9 electrical engineering courses as an undergrad and grad as part of my degree requirements. I know a fair bit about electronics and how things work, and I regularly fix electronics. Just my thing I suppose.

But no, I am not an electrician by any means. lol. I just completely take things apart and put them back together again (like I did with my wall outlet yesterday).

My mood upswing period seems to have ended quickly. Today it is so gloomy outside and I have little motivation. Nevertheless, I will set some goals for today so I do some productive things:

1. Clean up the kitchen
2. Fill the pill boxes
3. Make the bed
4. Do at least an hour or two of a project my hubby needs my help with
5. Make something for dinner
6. Do something that's at least a little bit fun

A warm hello!
I continue very busy with stuff that I need to catch up on. Have been putting a lot in order.

I had mentioned starting a new med via injection was a goal. Although I am still a bit uneasy about using the med. I did the initial injection today.

I'll inject this med every week.

Love to all! :

Welcome saucygirl31! I'm glad to read that you are determined to go to NA. AA helped and still helps me very much. It feels good to be free from the clutches of addiction.

I did virtually nothing yesterday related to the project I've been helping my hubby with. Actually, neither did he. Today we should do some work on it. Beyond that, just minor chores around the house. A trip to the grocery store would also be a very good idea, even if just for a small number of items.

I agree with fern -- that was indeed very brave of you. Good luck with the injection and let us know how you fare.

Today I want to:

1. Go to AA

2. Continue helping hubby with a project (I'm maybe 40% done)

3. Maybe stop at the grocery store (after the AA)

4. Tidy up around the house/cook dinner

I thought I'd bump up this thread since I really have a lot I want to accomplish today. I've been busy most of the week, but sort of burned out in terms of the project I was helping hubby with. He really does need me to finish it by this weekend, or preferably tomorrow max.

1. Project work for hubby

2. Wash remaining refrigerator shelves and slowly transfer stuff back to it from upstairs mini fridge and garage chest freezer. We had an issue with the fridge.

That's all I'm going to expect from myself today. Anything else is "bonus".

My goal for today is to draw which I've already been doing and to learn this card game I've been wanting to learn to play for a long time, it's kind of complicated because it's one of those rpg living card games, I've played with a friend before but never got the hang of it entirely so I bought my own set

Go to pdoc appt so I can tell my pdoc that I want to die and that I hate his assistant.

After that, go to my parents' house, do some work for my job, and then get a surprise takeout dinner from my mom's favorite restaurant.

Tentative goal: see my grandma in the hospital if I'm allowed to visit. (Not sure how the rules are on visitation. I know you can come in the morning, but my pdoc appt isn't until 11:45am and I won't be able to get to the hospital until about 1:30pm at the earliest if I go straight from my pdoc's office.)

Well, I worked a lot on the project to help my hubby. I am dead beat because of it, both mentally and physically.

I did not get to washing the remaining refrigerator shelves. We can do that tomorrow. I did put all of the clean ones in, and transferred the stuff from the cooler to the now working fridge, wiping everything first. We can transfer the stuff from the dorm fridge and garage freezer tomorrow.

My goal for today is to find some coping mechanisms to help me deal with my dark/negative thoughts. I'm at my parents' house, so I have limited options available to me. I do have my iPad on me, though, so I can watch some TV on the xfinity stream app to relax a bit.
