I believe I woke up at least five times last night. It was miserable. One time I thought my heart was racing, but I took my blood pressure three times in a row and both it, and my bpm, were normal.

Yeah, it does suck. At least the rollerblading kids on my floor are gone. Now THAT was really loud. (I actually think their families were kicked out for rollerblading in the hallway, running, and screaming.)

Also, their smelly Indian food is no longer stinking up the hallway. I mean, I love Indian food and the smell of it (because it's very aromatic), but theirs smelled like chicken tikka masala mixed with bleach or something. It literally made me gag.

Yeah, I hate the vibrations too. There is no need for that!

The guy downstairs is a loud drunk and abusive toward his wife/gf/sister/mother/whatever, so I don't want to complain about him. I don't want him coming upstairs and harassing me because he seems dangerous. He does throw parties with lots of alcohol because I hear them slurring their speech, yelling, and blasting music.

Yeah, it really sucks.

I feel for you, especially since California and Washington have it really bad right now.

I hope this whole thing blows over by the end of August like health officials are predicting. Of course I would prefer if it blew over a lot faster than that, but things are only starting to ramp up.

Stay safe and take care of yourself.

I had another long night but around 6-7 am I fell asleep and dreamed I was a math wiz. Had a workbook with a problem on the page, could see it clear as day and had no problems solving it. In real life math is a demon I cannot do. In college I took my mandated math classes as soon as I could to get it over with. Oh, I hate math. What a weird dream.

Put a $ sign in front of it and I can do percent but plain old numbers, yuck. And forget subbing X and y for numbers I like my alphabet and my numbers completely separate.

I don't know how I did either. I made a very good friend in my dorm who was a math major, she got me though it. Tho one night I was having a particularly hard time I they my textbook out the window and had to explain to the dorm security why I needed to go out and retrieve it!

It is about 3 AM. I woke up, and now cannot sleep further. So I made a batch of premixed pancake batter. I added an egg, and a teaspoon of baking powder. I am going to give it four hours to leaven. This should be enough time for fluffy pancakes.

What do I do now??? I go to work at 9:00 AM for five hours. This is six hours from now. I still need to shower. Yesterday, I did the laundry. So I am OK there. Should I mop the floor? I do have a loose tooth. Maybe if I attach a string to it and slam the door, it will come out? I think I will pass on this one.

I've never understood why people are forced to take math classes. If anything, they should replace those math classes with finance classes, like classes that teach you how to budget, how to do your taxes, etc..

I'm an engineer, so I do use algebra everyday. However, even my more advanced math courses in undergrad and grad were really theoretical and you had no use for them unless you were going on to do your PhD (which I was most certainly NOT going to do). I'd say that nothing above algebra is used in my everyday job life. The rest of math is junk to me.

I accidentally took my meds TWICE two nights ago (7mg of Rexulti, 400mg of lamictal, 100mg of Zoloft, and 1mg of cogentin), so I decided not to take any meds last night because I know some of the half lives of these meds are rather long. In fact, I'm surprised I ended up unscathed. I guess I'm really, really lucky. I know that 400mg of Lamictal and 100mg of Zoloft is technically safe since those do not exceed FDA approved max doses, but the other two, not at all.

But yeah, it didn't affect my sleep much, but last night, I slept A LOT.

I am actually severely depressed and have been since Friday. It really, really sucks. I met with my pdoc today, but he just increased my rexulti again.

I guess I'll probably sleep insane amounts now... Like way more than I need. But sleep is also a coping mechanism, so maybe it's not so bad. I would rather sleep it off than stay awake and deal with it, so I'll just accept it for what it is.

Yeah, sleep is one way to get though the lock up.

I was at a weird carnival last night. It was like an episode of Star Trek, a darkness everywhere except where this huge tent was. It had games inside and bright bright lights flashing everywhere. One game was throwing balls straight up at the ceiling in hopes of getting them in the highlighted holes to win. They had race cares too that looked more like bumper cars. The whole place was crooked and if you didn't win something bad would happen to you. But I woke up before the bad stuff happened!

At least I got some sleep!

I really do appreciate all of you. Thanks so much for being there. I have been having kind of a hard time. But who hasn't these days, right? Anyway, my sleep problems are very difficult. I'm so tired & feel so beaten down. I still feel spiritual & grateful about a lot of things. I just feel I need a rest. I wish so much for all of you. I understand how hard it is.

sounds like a fun dream

My dreams are very... abstract... Basically, they're nonsensical and too difficult to explain... The physics are all messed up (e.g., firetrucks flying in the sky with wings) and i have full control over what I think, feel, do, and say.

IDK if this happens to anyone else, but sometimes I will have a dream about a place that I have never seen before, but sometime after I wake up after the dream (e.g., 2 weeks later, several months later, years later, etc.) I actually visit that place in real life and go, "whoa... I've seen this place before in my dreams..." Or, I see it on the internet somewhere (e.g., maybe it's a random house in a jungle in India, and there's a news article about it with pics of it). I have no idea how I "see" these things in my dreams before I see them IRL.

I've had that happen before. Also, dreams where you know you're dreaming and/or can control them are called lucid dreams. I used to have those a lot in my early 20's.

I agree with you Blue about kids in school need classes on how to budget in the real world. Learn what buying a car or home takes and how Interest is part of your payments. So many young adults are over drafting all the time.

Im sorry your having a hard time, Depression is such a awful thing to deal with. Hopefully your med increase will help take that edge off

Didn't sleep last night. My usual falling asleep time is when I got up today to go shopping. No cool dreams lately but I am reading a weird book about a OCD lady who is seeing and hearing ghosts as she solves mysteries in NEw Orleans. Yeah it's fiction

I slept last night but certainly chemically induced. So I am not sure if I have any shot at any kind of sleep tonight.

So I will decide if I want to binge some ER for a while , but I also need to find a chunk of time to just be horizontal, My pain is very very high today

sleepy hugs to everyone
