Not last night, but hopefully tonight. A movie just started that looks kinda interesting. Sort of a modern day cowboy movie. One of the main actors has a very nice full mustache and shaggy white hair. Missed the name

Blue, I'd be interested in the ritual too. Great photo!

Ugh. When I used to be on Seroquel, once in a while it seemed almost activating, which was pretty miserable.

I did sleep last night for about 6 hours. Read a bit of my book and conked out. Feel much better today.

Its either that or I'm just used to it at this dose. Its only 150 so very low.

I like that head-banging smilie! I wish there were something I could suggest to help you sleep! And you're not on any meds. I would've gone manic by now!

I find Seroquel XR to be more sedating. Regular (instant release) Seroquel seems to wear off rather quickly, whereas the XR is a constant influx of sedation.

I am not a dr, but I would recommend the XR over the instant release if you're looking to stay asleep. Only problem is that you are kinda sedated throughout the day with the XR. However, I think it is better for controlling mania for that reason. You're also more calm.

I had to go off all forms of seroquel because it gave me the worst depression I have ever experienced in my life when the dose was increased to 250mg.

Fun Seroquel story:

My grandma had BP. She literally took seroquel instant release 3 times a day for agitation, but she STILL only slept 2-3 hours a night, if that. I wish the dr would have given her seroquel XR, but I drove her to IP before we could request that. (Her geriatric psychiatrist was an asshole anyways.) That's when IP drs tried trazadone, which made her bounce off the walls, gave her rapid speech, caused her to pace like crazy, become completely delusional 100% of the time, and made her start hallucinating. Then she started biting other patients, kicking them, hitting them with stuff, etc.. She literally threatened to kill them, too. And the problem was that although she was 82, she was in a geriatric IP wing and she was actually capable of RUNNING. She would literally bite someone who used a cane or walker and then run down the hall so they couldn't catch her!!

After that chaos, she was given zyprexa for 7 days, to no avail. Then they tried depakote to relax her and even out her mood, but it only agitated her. Geodon was the only thing that made her sleep.

Edit: I feel bad for this guy named John. He said something to her that wasn't nice, so she bit him every time she saw him. lol. She also pushed him on the ground though. And the dude was like 85.

That could be us! Granted, I'm getting to 82 way before you are, but hey look at the bright side, right? At least I'm getting to 82!

Well I have decided that I am drugging myself under later tonight.. I absolutely need/ must be asleep for at least 12 hours that is my goal.

Having chronic life long insomnia I am able to function longer than some people can.. but I am hitting that wall

What are you trying this time to sleep? I hope it works for you.

I think a lack of sleep for me is making me feel... not right. My thinking is getting skewed

I used to use NyQuil, a triple dose, for sleep. Now I am more efficient now. I have a bottle of Crown Royale Canadian whiskey. And it tasted better too!

Well I slept again last night, But also due to drugging myself under... So enough of that.

Its very tempting to do so nightly but meds tap out on me so fast when used for sleep so I do save for when I just cant go any longer.

I slept great last night but that was after working a long, utterly exhausting 13 hour shift at work. I won't be doing that again!
