Damn I'm up again. It's getting worse! It's 440am and I am being plagued with intrusive/obsessive thoughts. I just had to go do something on another site. Maybe I can sleep now, but I'm not sure. Might be time again to talk to my doctor about sleeping pills. Or it could just be from weight training again. I had forgotten that this used to keep me up in the past too when I had an intense workout. Sigh!

Good luck, @giddykitty! So sorry you're having such a struggle. I also have a hard time, never getting enough sleep or rest. I haven't figured it out yet either.

Washed my bedding, took a hot hot shower, washed my hair, took two Ambien and slept pretty well. Woke up a bunch of times but was able to go back to sleep. Sadly no remembered dreams.

For a week straight I remember I couldn't get any sleep at all. I kept moving a lot in my sleep and no matter how hard I tried to sleep, I just couldn't sleep. In the end I went through a week of crying outbursts and feeling really really depressed. The smallest things would make me cry. So I ended up going to sleep a lot earlier and listening to ambient music, while reading before hand. It's been helping me out a lot. The doctor tried to prescribe medication to me, but I don't want to be put on any.

Hey ! I hope everyone is getting some kind of sleep.

Im surprised actually. Taking time to really focus on self care has me sleeping daily! Hasn’t happened in forever. I hope it continues.

Hugs to all

Maybe nobody wants me to say this, but the main reason I can't get a good night's sleep is the fact that my voices keep me awake. Anyway, the end result is very little energy & I'm so tired of being tired.

I recited the words "sleep & dream" over and over, but it failed.

I’m sorry your going through this.

Have you tried writing down thoughts and how your feeling right before you go to bed ?? Sometimes the act of physically writing down what’s keeping you from sleeping can kind of take the “ pressure” off. It’s worked for me in the past , certainly not all the time , but maybe worth a try

Guess I should have been more specific. The sleep part worked but the dream part failed. I'm really missing my dream recall. The Ambien is messing with my ability to remember my dreams. My dreams are like cool sci fi movies. When I had PTSD I had horrible nightmares but as I dealt with the trauma my cool dreams returned. I miss flying, it's so cool to be weightless

It’s 5am and time for me to get ready for work. I got maybe 3 hours of sleep. My mind was just racing with music lol

Today is gonna be hard to stay awake!

Yes I didn’t dream at all on Ambien. I seldom take it , with in a couple weeks it just stops working.

Ahhh flying dreams are the best

I'm truly happy for you, Christina. Good sleep makes all the difference in how we feel and function, doesn't it?

Yes it truly does. It’s rare that I am able to get decent sleep in a row like this so I am loving every minute of it

How has your sleep been ? Also I have been meaning to ask how is your leg/foot pain is going ? Did your Doctor agree to try Feldene ? Or something else? Probably pushing you to go back to PT .. if so defiantly find a new place , the other place is ridiculous unprofessional.

Well, I hope your good sleep is a trend

My foot/leg pain is so bad it's hard to walk now. On Thursday I'm calling the podiatrist. If they
s-crew me around I'm going to the ER on Friday. The back of my foot/ankle is swollen; it's kinda scary. I haven't been to the MD since you suggested Feldene, but I will suggest it to them. PT can bite me

I promised Christina a dream. It's imperfectly half rememberer end and not sci fi at all. I lived in an apartment complex that was built Roman style around a courtyard. I had two apartments kitty-cornered from each other. I had a bird, a little green thing. I put him in one apartment in a cage that had an embroidered portrait of a 1900's person that had vegetable soup in it. But I went to my other apartment where I had another cage and this one I put bird feed and a little stone statue in and ignored the bird in the other apartment. Then bad men dressed like police officers sneaked into the courtyard and we're going into people's apartments, then suddenly I relized I needed to put the bird in the other cage,......I woke up. that's all she wrote!
