Oh yuck I am sorry your going through this.. Can you call your Pdoc and ask for a temporary piggy back med to get your through the Rexulti withdraw ? I know some Pdocs use low dose Straight Seroquel, it helps alot of people .. Maybe call and ask ??

Hope you feel better soon and Im sorry your insurance company is pulling this crap !

Moose, don't know how this equates in Michigan but my CVS (only store I've been in since March 4 so I don't have a good comparison) is taking returns now. They weren't a month ago.

But, in terms of socializing around people in general I guess I a really am an introvert. Also, my sensory overstimulation is helped by not being out in crowded places as much. That being said, I would take being uncomfortable around people any day if it meant this pandemic was over or improved. It's just something I am noticing about myself. Also, I have dermatitis on my wrist that I cannot get rid of with all this handwashing and hand sanitizer using because it keeps re-irritating it. Not a big deal, but it is getting annoying. My significant other is thinking of getting a dog and so I have been having fun looking at pictures of pups for adoption and sending them to him.
Im glad things are going well for you , Yes strange times we are living in.. Ohhhh I think rescusing a dog is a great idea... I really want to get another but we already have 2 and they cost us enough ! But I want one !!!!

I hope you can find something that helps the Dermatitis... Years ago I got something from my dermatologist and it cleared it up im sure it was a sterpid based ointment, But yes the handwashing is going to continue to irritate

Glad you popped in and gave us an update

Im sorry for your loss Yes she had a long life

Im glad your feeling better over all. A walk around a lake sounds lovely. I hope you enjoy Dinner

I kept asking Steve is he was okay last night if I did a big chemical take down sleep... So loaded to the gills and I was down hard ! I now have that awful medication hangover, But I really needed it..

On a side note, My hair is not far from my waist and its thick and so heavy.. I normally wear it up in a clip as I cant stand it hanging around my face.. Well I have broken 2 clips in 3 days... I am using the biggest claw clips I can find, even found the latest on Amazon.. I only wear in down if we go out and I will brag and say My hair is Amazing, But if I go out I use some hairspray to keep it outta my face, and I hate product in my hair..

Anyway, an ad started popping up on my Facebook feed about a hair thing called "Pony O " anyway I ordered it, they claim you can wear a ponytail and its not painful.. I cant handle a ponytail normally because they just hurt.. So anyway its not going to arrive until JUNE !!! Yes I am being a baby about it LOL

I'm here listening to Mozart sonatas, K10-15 (That means his 10th to 15th things he ever wrote!) I think he was 10 when he wrote them. Complex for a 10-year-old!

I wrote my long-time friend/pen pal three emails today. One main one and two after-thoughts. It will take him forever to write me back because he confessed in his last email to me that he works all day on a computer and the last thing he wants to do after work is write more stuff on a computer! I can understand this, but this is the only way we have communicated over the last 16 years! He usually takes a little while to write back, but when he does he always has read everything I've sent him first, which is nice since I often send more than one message- even if they are short.

I think I'll go upstairs now and watch my monster movie. Its about a praying mantis that is gigantic! Back later!

I talked with my dad about the Cortot trio recording. (Violin, piano and cello.) Recorded in the 1930's, they would often times slide from one note to the next. He said, "You know where schmaltz comes from? Chicken fat! If you were schmaltzy you had chicken fat on your fingerboard and were sliding all over the place!"

Just thought you'd enjoy this tidbit from my dad. 🙂🙂

I bought my favorite office chair today. It's a Herman Miller chair. I spend enough time at my desk at home anyway and with working from home even more time so I finally decided to get one.

They were having a sale and free shipping by FedEx so it was a good deal. It'll take a month to get here, I guess because of covid slowdowns.

I should be quite happy with myself since I did a fair bit this past week. But I'm still feeling low.

There are moments when I'm pleased with something but it is really short lived.

The weather just turned. It's colder again and rainy. Yesterday was beautiful and I convinced mum to come with me outside in the sun. Today I was inside watching a sci fi movie and mum went back outside. I should have joined her cause my time outside yesterday helped me sleep last night. Never underestimate Mother Nature.

I'm so sorry it's stretching on like this. Not being able to breathe is awful. I had whooping cough (allergic to shots) 10 years ago and my sats would dip into the 80s after a bad "whoop" and it just felt terrible.

I'm doing ok. My family issues are stable I guess. I tried to write about it and I just can't put it into words yet.

If anyting I'm too relaxed . All I want to do is sleep. I'm up now because I had slept 3 hours before I woke up at 12:30. I'll get back to sleep and sleep another long time. Depression sleep. It's been a long time since I've had it.

Continuing to pray for You and Steve. He's very lucky to have you.

Conflicts are already cropping up between my siblings and me in regards to my father. I know that it will become extra stressful, not that it isn't already stressful. I'll spare people here of the details. My sister is still doing the lion's portion of the work. I am preparing letters for our dad's upcoming neurologist and psychiatrist appointments. Oh how I hope my father won't refuse to go to these appointments!!!! They are so important!

My husband is under great stress, despite not getting laid off. Actually, he now thinks being laid off or taking the package would have been the better situation. Of course with this pandemic, that would have been difficult. I really hope that a vaccine is created and distributed asap. My husband and I will be first in line to receive it.

I have decided to stop talking to my psychiatrist about our potential future move to Europe. His input makes the situation only more difficult. I'll only talk to my therapist about it. My psychiatrist has volunteered to look over the write-up I'm creating for my dad's upcoming neurologist appointment. That's kind of him. He can certainly provide input on how best to structure it (and on some content) to be as effective and helpful as possible.

Believe me when I write that my siblings and I wished our dad's LTC insurance would have paid towards the assisted living. If they did, perhaps our dad would have just stayed there permanently. At this time, I don't think our father even wants to come home. Sadly, we'd rather he not, too. The reason LTC refused is because they use the alcohol abuse as an excuse. According to his policy, even mental illness would cause an exemption. So, basically his LTC regards these issues as the person's fault.

According to his policy, even mental illness would cause an exemption so that they wouldn't pay. Basically, his LTC regards these issues as the person's fault. We all know that a lot of people in this country view it that way. We will ask a lawyer if our dad should stop paying for LTC insurance, because it's obviously been a waste of money all of these years. I strongly suggest that anyone interested in buying LTC insurance read the fine print on the policy carefully. My parents meant well buying it. They didn't know how it would turn out in the end.

Hubby and I strapped ourselves down with too many projects. They must be done. There's no way of putting them off for long. Gotta go and start some.
