Glad you got the big mess cleaned up. That always feels nice.

Ok, like last time, we evacuated to my in-laws’. It’s been a wild morning waking up at 0500 to get out as fast as possible. It’s hard to pack and load in the dark.

Yeah I’ve had doctors refuse to put me on it before because of anxiety. They are not wrong. I was on it during the summer for about 6 weeks but my anxiety was so out of control and I was just on 75 milligrams. Then I tried it again yesterday and Friday and the anxiety was even worse then before. Once I got off it both times I noticed an instant difference.

Glad you see you back posting. I bet its been wild! Doing things in the dark sucks- especially when the power goes out in the middle of the night.

Maybe I'll mention this to my pdoc once I'm moved. Then that will take a lot of the situational anxiety away and we'll see what I'm left with.

Wait - you're evacuating? Why? Is there a fire or are you in a power outage region? It's so windy it's hard to tell what's happening.

Yes, evacuated. The lower slopes Of the mountain we live on are on fire. I’m more worried for our house than last time.

Oh, I hope they can get the fire out and that your house will be ok.

I’m so tired today. I didn’t take seroquel until about 10:30 last night and I had to take extra to get rid of anxiety. Im hoping to take it early tonight and go to sleep early just to catch up. I can sleep in tomorrow as I have off but still.

I’m going to try to quit nicotine. I only have 12 juul pods left and I can’t afford my monthly order bc the water bill I’ll is due. I mean, technically I have the money in my savings but I’m trying to, you know, SAVE it to pay for future things I actually need. I need to pay for my son’s braces, as well as save for a wedding (though it certainly won’t be extravagant). And we also want to buy a house in two years. We will need a Down payment for that. There’s no reason to spend $150 a month to feed my addiction if I can help it. I’ve been mostly cigarette free since January. I think I bought 2-3 packs in May when I was struggling with depression and couldn’t get my hands on menthol juul pods. They’ve been banned in my state. I’m scared though; I know I will be VERY irritable. I don’t want to be nasty to my family.

I went waaay off diet yesterday. But still ate at maintenance. Just not deficit. So it should be fine. I’ve lost 19lb as of yesterday. So close! And I’m 5lb away from being under 200!

I'm just home from shopping for lamps with my mom. I got one for the living room and one for the bedroom. The lamps I have are falling apart and there are no lights in the bedroom or living room at the new place. My mom wanted to get some side tables but they are expensive and they didn't have more than one of one that I liked. I want an end table on either side of the bed- one for the lamp and one for my CPAP. I don't really want to buy anything else until I pay for the apartment, though.

I'm rooting for you to quit nicotine. I wish Caleb would, but I'm thinking I won't notice a difference this year from a year and a half ago when he came to visit me even though he said he's cutting way back on smoking.

Congrats on the weight loss! Yay!

I bet losing nicotine will be stabilizing for you. It is way, way, way more addictive than heroin. You can do it

Does anyone know: on the absent voter ballot, there is a section for voting for a straight party ticket- Democrat, Republican, Green, etc. If you fill one of those in, you don't have to chose anything else, or do you still need to fill in individual people?

I'm pretty sure you do need to fill in a specific name. Because there could be, for example, 2 people, both Green, running for the same office. So you need to specify which one you're voting for.

Here, we always have to pick each person, but we have been voting by mail for like, 30 years or something.

Well I got 4 more hours of sleep. So 7 total. I have to get groceries today. We're out of everything! I still feel tired. But its not a big deal.
