Thanks Beth!

My sister is coming over tomorrow to visit. She's gonna give me a knife set since she just got new ones and also a hair dryer since I don't have one. That should be helpful especially in the winter when it's cold after showers, won't have to wait for my hair to dry on it's own anymore.

Didn't go to sleep till like 4 in the morning. Got up around 10am. Was up all night watching Netflix and movies and playing videogames. Gonna read some more of my book today. It's a nice cool day and I have the windows open.

I slept last night without the fan and tv! Slept well too.

Caleb has gone. I got a shower and wearing comfy stretch pants and my matching Mickey Mouse hoodie.
I want to get my mom and her husband a nice present for helping me so much. Going to go to a flower shop. Family friends for decades. They won't know me though. I just want something simple.

I’m doing pretty well today. I slept through the night and for a long time. Today my anxiety is pretty low and my moods are ok. My mom found Tab at the store which I haven’t seen in forever.

My friend also think I have vertigo probably due to some upper sinus congestion that is causing fluid to back up into my ears. She recommended mucinex d. I got some, it’s worked well for me before so I hope it will work for me again. I got a little bit of stuff done so far. Sorted my son’s clothes and started to put mine away. Managed to get grocery shopping done. I finally downloaded a coupon app for my local grocery store and I saved $61! This is kind of an expensive store (more expensive than the other two but not as bad as the upscale one in the fancy township next door lol). But it has some good generic options and food that I can’t get at the discount store so I like going there once in awhile. I definitely didn’t feel well walking around but I was ok driving.

We’re probably going to go to the shore tomorrow to see one of the famous shore attractions. It will be chilly! I got a nice new heavy sweatshirt though (since the damn zipper broke on mine last year!)

One more thing I’m excited about - I put on one of my xxl long sleeve shirts from last fall and it’s so loose on me! Im not gonna but new clothes until I really look silly in the larger sizes or my pants are falling off of me but it’s definitely nice!

I'm joining in the thread and reporting in that my house is still standing. Today we are going to Tomales Bay just to get a change of setting.

Went to sleep under an orange moon, awoke to a red sun. The air is hazy grey and muted gold. What ever happened to oxygen bars, where you paid about $10 to breathe in oxygen?

More weaving today. I'm creating a tapestry to hang on my wall. I have an idea of using pieces of real fishing net in the hanging.

Think I'll turn off the news and turn on Nick Cave.

I was going between the news and Hook. Now just have Hook on, definitely better than the news.

This is a weird question but does anyone ever drool? Do you think it’s a side effect of your meds? This happens to me sometimes. It happened in therapy last session and I had to wipe my mouth with the back of my hand and I think she noticed. I knew a guy who would literally drool a ton because of his bipolar meds.

It’s been a good day. I’ve been sitting in the sun, reading and drinking peach tea. About to head over to Cheddars for some bourbon glazed salmon and steamed broccoli (to go). Swinging by Crumbl Cookies for tomorrow’s visit with my daughter. Life is good.

I hope everyone is having a peaceful weekend.

Come to think off it, I’ve had times of drool coming from the right side of my mouth...usually when I’m going to sleep. I don’t know what to attribute it to.

I don't, but I know that drooling can be a med side effect.

I'm feeling a bit down, maybe more than a bit. Today is my son's 32nd birthday, I just had a nice conversation with him. He and his wife live in San Francisco. Her parents live there, too, and are very wealthy and "normal". My son spends a lot of time with them, which is great. I do feel happy about that. Anyway, the four of them are going to dinner tonight for his birthday.

My daughter also spends a great deal of time with her husband's family. Since I was IP in 2018 she has barely communicated with me - even though we were very close before that.

I have a serious mental illness, so does my husband. We are poor, especially by California standards. I know the kids love us very much...but we're not...typical. So we rarely see them. We're always last on the list. It hurts like hell.

So nice to have your sister coming over. My sister was supposed to come over today, but its been put off until tomorrow. I love her to death, but shes not that reliable lol. She has a lot going on tho...

Glad you're getting that new knife set and a hair dryer. Nice deal!

Oh, Beth. I am so sorry. I was thinking about this on my ride, since I am about to reach out to family again. Do you think it is possible that, due to all or wreckage, these people have somehow subconsciously slotted us in with the people who are "a chore" to talk to, to deal with? That, rather than viewing us as ill, they cognitively and formally classify as as, like, problem children? So that, rather than ghosting us, they basically dread us? Is something like that possible?

Right on! I got one of my sisters flowers when I had stimulus check money. Maybe think about flowers? She really enjoyed them. She has really been there regarding my panic attacks. Shes really a great person. Or you could get them a plant too...
