Pissed off because the teletherapy link wasn't sent by the clinic IT, which means I had to change my therapy appointment to tomorrow - hoping that they'll fix their system by then.
God I miss in-person sessions.

I ended up having to go to urgent care for my thumb after all. It was still bleeding after 20 minutes and since it was already relatively late in the evening I decided to just go rather than risk having to wait in the ER for who knows how long. I was in and out in 30 minutes. They put surgical gel foam in it so I didn’t have to have it cauterized, which was nice because it wasn’t painful at all.
My mom told me that my grandfather will have a military funeral due to the fact that he was in the Air Force for a number of years in his early 20s. My grandma has requested that the folded flag be presented to my son. This is a high honor and I’m honored that she chose my son to receive it. Honestly he has always been the apple of my grandfather’s eye. My brother just had his daughter less than three years ago so my grandpa was too deep into his dementia to really get to know her. My grandfather has always said he wants my son to go to Princeton university for some reason! I do not know if he will want to, or get the grades necessary, or anything like that but I might buy him a PU tee shirt just to wear lol. If he wasn’t in such bad shape I would run up there and grab one and take a picture of my son in it. I don’t even know if there is anyone physically on campus though. I will look into it.

I had a great therapy session today! We were able to work through neutralizing my emotions around my sister who is a nasty piece of work sorry to say. I usually end up with a panic attack or an upset stomach around her. I feel freer and lighter than I have in a long time now that I know how to handle things.
I hope everyone is having a peaceful day.

Okay, this day so far
 IT screwed up my therapy appointment by not sending telehealth link on time (they sent it at 3 for a 2:00 appt.). Then I ordered some food from Doordash and the ding-dong delivered it to the wrong address. So now I'm waiting for a re-delivery...at the same time my husband is coming to pick up my cat to go to the vet (I can't drive yet). I do NOT want my husband to know that I order from Doordash because he would be furious about the $$$ (I know, it's a stupid thing to do). Now I'm anxious about the vet visit. I hope it all goes well...I think Jack just has an infected claw. I'm starting to freak out. Trying to breathe. Use CBT stuff.

Okay. Jack the cat has a no-big-deal irritation on 2 claws and will only need them cleaned with a medicated wipe once/day. Whew. Doordash refunded me + gave me an $18 credit. AND the delivery showed up literally 2 minutes before my husband did. Whew again. CBT affirmation: All my problems have a solution

I went home to clean the refrigerator out. Everything had thawed in the freezer so I had an awful mess there. The fridge itself simply needed to be emptied so I could scrub the shelves. I put a bowl of baking soda in the fridge to get rid of the odor. I just realised I neglected to put baking soda in the freezer.
ECT tomorrow means I won't be able to drive home until Saturday. So that's our plan. It looks like electricity, water, gas, and cell coverage have been set up in our neighbourhood. I just hope it remains as things are still a bit sketchy.

I had a meltdown last night because of pain. I didn’t get to sleep until 3AM. I’ve been taking the pain meds. It’s just these frigging drains. They are just pulling at me. I called the doctor to set up my appointment for tomorrow and she said right now my levels are still too high to remove them. I have to be like under 20 something milligrams. She said to call back at 8:30 tomorrow. I’m really hoping I’m under tomorrow because I’m pretty sure the drains are my main issue. My nausea is pretty good.
