I fell asleep around 11 last night. I got up at 7:15 and my mom was already up and dressed and sitting on the chair in the room using her phone. Its unusual for her to wake up before me. Now I'm fighting sleep a bit but I'm trying to hang on.

Only slept about 4 hours Thursday night. Took Ambien last two nights and slept 8.5 to 9 hours both nights trying to catch up on sleep.

I've been sleeping in short naps every day, usually in the evenings. I keep hoping to have a catch-up-on-my-sleep day.

I took the full dose of ambien last night, usually that ensures I’ll fall asleep quickly but not last night. I was tossing and turning until 3am then I did sleep until 7:30. So that’s pretty good for me.

I was alternating between being freezing cold and being very hot and then I somehow ended up under all my weighted blanlets which was like 40 pounds which didnt help anything of course. Now I'm awake a few hours before I can get up or do anything.

I just wish I felt better anxiety wise.

I think its just this covid stuff thats getting to me. But yeah I didnt sleep the greatest last night these hot and cold flashes were tough again.

Edit: I got another 1 and 10 minutes of sleep and I feel ok now. Still kind of anxious though

I slept great last night. For like 12.5 hours. I had a melatonin and a benadryl. I went to bed so hungry I was literally about to go and quit my diet before I fell asleep.

Oh you were a lot more proactive than I was! I too woke up after a couple hours sleep. But I busied myself with inventing a new British comic sitcom. Don’t really remember it now tho.

Only slept like 4.5 hours last night. Having an anxiety attack tonight, so can't relax enough to sleep. I have to be up for work in 4 hours Cool Insomnia Club #3 Debating whether it's even worth laying down.

I only slept 2 or 3 hours last evening. But this morning I have done a few things that I'm thankful about. From somewhere came a new willingness to take on stuff I'd needed to do for a long time. I hope it's a sign of an upturn, because things have been really hard lately.

I slept good again. But I got up sometime around 8 to eat 3 cookies. I had my music on for most of the night and it didn't bother me. I woke up at 5 something but then I fell back asleep until 6:15.

Ahhhiii. Woke up much too early. But did get about 5 hours which is better. Had another hospital dream. Time was very messed up though. I was about 25 in the dream but stuff from now was happening, like my new glasses were delivered there, and I had the wallet I use now. But the car was different, sort of like the one I drove when I was 25 but a silver with a black canvas roof. I was discharged while at OT, bow and arrow shooting! An orderly bought me a red wagon with my stuff in it but my wallet wasn’t there. There was a glass top on the wagon for the stuff to be safe tho. After walking around the maze of basement corders I found an exit near a bus stop. The wagon changed into a modern 4 wheeled luggage carrier. And my wallet was on top. I took a bus but realized I had a car in the parking lot of the hospital. Was wondering around looking for a bus stop back and they were all going away. Then while walking though a green hilly park square my luggage turned into a hopping toddler. I realized with horror I hadn’t changed his diaper since my week long hospital stay. But I really needed to find the car. Then I woke up!

I think my music might be too much of a distraction. My earbuds hurt and they dont stay in. But I also had the lights off and the menu on the DVD I was watching for about an hour. So the light from that may also have something to do with my sleep. I didnt sleep bad I just thought I'd sleep longer then 3:45.

Another intense dream, but it resolved with a good outcome. I’m waking up much too early. I’ve been going to bed around 10:30-11pm and wake up 3-4am I need to wait until midnight so I sleep longer and don’t wake until 7-8am. Amazing what just an hour can make. My eyes get so blurry on less sleep.

I fell asleep at about 8 and I slept through the night. I woke up at 6 but I couldnt fully wake up and I dozed off and on before finally pulling myself out of bed at 7.

I went to sleep in the evening & woke up before midnight. So then I surprised myself & did some decluttering & organizing. Then I got tired & slept for a while, maybe an hour or so.

Slept ok except for the dreams. Mum and I went to the state fair with a lot of other people. Our group was on a cart pulled by a tractor when I noticed mum gone. I tried to make them stop but they kept going. Then I tried to have them make an announcement and no luck. They wanted everyone to get home. I made a loop though the fair and found her. She’d had a stroke and changed clothes. Didn’t understand any thing past 1950. I finally got her back to the gathering place but she spoke her mind alienating mean people. She was dressed in 1950’s clothes.

Slept good last night, about 8 hours without taking anything. Have been sleeping with old reruns on the TV hoping if I listen those as a distraction maybe I won't have such bad anxiety and can actually fall asleep. Cool Insomnia Club #3
