My X-ray was normal naturally. Well who’s hand is swollen and painful this morning???? On Monday I’m going to make an appointment with my regular dr. It will probably be a few weeks out but I’m willing to wait. Generally when I’m psyching myself out I get better immediately after I’m told it’s nothing. Not this time. My knee and back are also killing be this morning, and the knee has been getting steadily worse like my wrist/hand. My back, well, it’s been wrecked since I was in IP for so long so who knows. But I’ve got to do SOMETHING! If only explain how many things are going wrong at once and ask him to please help me figure out if anything is related. I’m tired!!!

I am so sorry you’re having such problems. How frustrating! I hope you get some answers sooner rather than later and that you feel better soon.

Sorry I just saw this now. Its just the blood levels and stuff. My doctor has warned me about the high risks of heart attacks and strokes so I am aware. I do also get quite a bit of anxiety. But my heart feels alot better and I am not light headed so I assume my blood level is now down again after the procedure on Wenesday. I'm sleeping better which is a good sign it did go down.

Anyways, I got my normal homestate stores shopping done. Then I came home. I got a refill on my valium picked up just as I had taken the last one. So that worked out well. Then I guess we missed a call from the hospital trying to set up my biopsy. But we left a message and they got back to us. My insurance is sending me to another hospital. My sister had a surgery there and had a good expirence. The biopsy does sound painful. They will numb the area and the needle will be very thin and it will be like a bee sting and the needle part will be about 5 minutes and they will watch me closely. At this point I'm just trying to accept it. Last Saturday the doctor said it wasn't urgent and I could take my time getting it done. So I had planned on putting it off. But I guess they want it done next Friday. I'm trying not to read anything into it. I'm trying just to go with things. I messaged my endocronoglist and he got back a couple hours ago and said my testereone levels are fine where they are at and my physical progression is fine. So thats a relief. My trip was nice, but my problems were just waiting for me when I got back. And this nausea still sucks.

It always amazes me how Americans seem to go from state to state so easily. How long does it generally take to drive between states? If I want to go to another state it’s like a 8hr drive to the closest one (except the capital territory but that doesn’t count coz it’s actually a state / territory within a state if that makes sense). Some are 12-14hrs away. The others can be up to 2 days away. I’d like to be able to go interstate easier without having to get on a plane.

Beth. I’m mostly ok. I have a low boil of worry located in my stomach. The auto guy never got back to me on my car. I’m worried they started fixing it without asking and that it’s going to be thousands of dollars. I don’t have thousands of dollars. I’m worried I’ll be without a car. Up here that’s bad news as there isn’t any buses or Uber. There two taxis that cooperate with each other so they charge a lot. This isn’t a place you can get around without a car. And if it is too much what am I gonna do? My sister was here yesterday and told mum she should help me out as I’m the one to drives her everywhere and drive to go get whatever she wants. But that’s how we decided to split the bills when I came to live here. I do all the food, transportation and outside stuff. I’ve also bought a lot of her clothes because she’s not online and she doesn’t go shopping anymore. So I buy her stuff as she needs it.

My sister is stopping by later tonight for my birthday, she's bringing some takeout from one of my favorite local places. I'm getting buffalo wings, french fries, and honeydew bubble tea with mango popping boba, and she's also giving me some wine so I can have a couple drinks to celebrate tonight Really excited, especially for the bubble tea, I love that stuff. It's been a great day so far, I feel really good. My nose piercing looks good and isn't bothering me, I'm keeping it clean and doing everything I'm supposed to.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend

Edited to add, I also took a pic of the cats staring at eachother today lol

We found parking easily. Wandering around was fun. I bought some DVDs - two were old movies and two were modern movies. And by old I mean 1940s and/or 50s. I also bought a sheet set. They said they were used once and that they just got another set they liked better. I'm going to wash and dry them on the hottest settings before I actually use them. Dunno if I should bleach them, too? --That lady that sold me the sheets was a jerk though. I asked if she'd take $10 for them- they were marked $15- and she got a little snippy with me and said "How 'bout 15?". Ugh! I paid her $15 but I kind of regret doing so now. I should've just put the sheets on the table and said "No, thank you"! -- Would bleach ruin them? I also got a glass jar with a spout to make sun tea in. I don't think N 3 got much of anything and we didn't get a hot dog this year.

I'm hungry. That donut was 5.5 hours ago. Plus I want a nap.

I feel weird today. What a suprise. I'm probably just nervous about the biopsy. I'm in a decent amount of stomach pain. I took some tylenol and it seems to be kinda working. I don't get why they wouldn't just remove someones gallbladder if they were in this much pain and distress even if it did look ok. I'll call on Monday to see if the gastro doctor has a cancellation. The hematricrit level seems to be ok from what I'm feeling. I'm not lightheaded anymore and my heart feels ok and I slept good last night for the second night in a row. If all 3 of those are good then that normally means the level is ok now. I'm kind of anxious from everything but I'm pretty sure thats to be expected. One of the few things I feel like eating is Taco Bells Mexican pizza. Which I'm sure is great for my stomach but if its all I feel like eating its better then nothing. But apparently theres a nationwide shortage and most places are out and wont get them back until October or something. My Taco Bell still had them though. So I had one today for lunch. In general food doesn't sound very good. I just took a zofran so hopefully things improve. But I have the hematricrit, thyroid, and the gastro stuff to deal with this summer and whatever depression and anxiety comes along with it.

Enjoy those skates! Sounds so fun. I liked skating in the past, but haven't done so since my 30s. My last were those inline types that were the hottest thing back then. I even took an adult school class to try to learn how to break. Sadly, I kind of struggled with them even afterwards. I did better on the old-fashioned types, like you have. Will you do the Hokey Pokey? I remember that being a regular song at the old rolling rinks. I also remember in Central Park seeing super talented inline skaters doing all kinds of dance moves on them. I was jealous.

Yeah, thank you, I was pretty darn angry when I saw Mary's pic and the invite to call for an appt. I mean honestly - what will they tell people who call??!?!?

What an AWESOME idea, to take a skating class! I did enjoy the inline skates, but then I was used to ice skating. I'm so glad, though, that the traditional 4-wheel skates are back. What fun, to see the skate dancers! Wow, that would be a dream of mine, to skate dance. I was deeply into figure skating (ice), but I was young - 13, 14.

I’m heading down to the pool in about 3 hours. I’ve got to do a few last things for Sunday.

Mom, sister and I have decided to board the dog Monday and head for Florida Tuesday morning. We have a 3 bedroom condo timeshare next week that can’t be rented at this late date so we thought why not? Maybe a change of scenery would be great especially for mom. That’s our plan for now. My niece may go as well. That would be lovely. I’m 50-50 about this plan. It sounds great in theory but will I have the “energy” to do it? I guess even if we just sat on the balcony and looked at the ocean it would be soothing.

I hope everyone has a peaceful day. Hugs to all!

Maybe your mom instinctively wants the support of people and that's why she wants them to be at the house. Understandably tiring for you, though.

Tangerine tea sounds delicious.

The little vacation sounds wonderful - but yes, I'm concerned about your energy level. Is there any chance of going on Wednesday so you have Tuesday to rest and refresh, and process?

Which country are you in?

It amazes me, how easily most Americans travel state to state, too. Not so with California - it's huge and getting to another state is a long journey. Also Texas - tremendously large state.

I know where you're at and I really, really feel for you. I am entirely car dependent here, too. Totally. It's a shaky feeling.

But you know...if your mom has the means, helping you out with the car repair would be very noble of her.

Moose, that picture must be so cute. I've never worn the kind of skates you've described. Always wanted to give them a try, though.

wfc, geez. That pain sounds miserable and very tiring. I hope you can receive some treatment for it and that you don't just get blown off.

Well, I'm off to get my monthly pedicure. Then I have a load of *fun* chores to do, the main one being unclogging my bathtub

And I'll be getting in stretches and skating this afternoon!

Much love to each, a peaceful Saturday, and I'll see you later on.

I am in so much stomach pain right now and I have this nausea and heart burn too. I've tried tylenol zofran and pepcid along with my regular psych meds. I haven't eaten since lunch. I don't want to go to the crowded ER and be triaged and watch multiple people come in after me get called back in before me. Last time they didn't even give me a room with a bed but a small room the size of a closet with an exam table. I wouldnt have found the thyroid nodules if it werent for that trip though if I'm being honest. But I'll just continue to deal with this on my own and hope the gastro doctor has a cancellation. The ER is always just a huge frustrating waste of time.

M has been here for hours and we’ve spent a relaxing afternoon going through all the photo albums between me, sister and mom including pics of me as a baby and through the years. A nice stroll down memory lane. We talked about my adoption and she’d like a copy of the file. I guess that is her bloodline as well. Just didn’t know she’d be interested but she was - very. We sat on the screened in porch on a sunny, breezy day and enjoyed fresh banana bread and coconut milk. About to go to the pool for a nice evening swim.

I am and have been calm, peaceful and content today even with all the craziness of people bringing food and flowers to the house plus the cleaner being here and finishing up details for tomorrow. The Zoloft seems to be working. I don’t know what tomorrow will bring. It will be a difficult day for everyone in the family….the visitation and service. I hope it goes as smoothly as possible.

I hope everyone has a peaceful evening. Hugs to all.

You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow Jennifer. I'm glad you are having peaceful family time and that the zoloft seems to be helping.

It now runs as an independent self-help support group community for mental health, personality, and psychological issues and is overseen by a group of dedicated, caring volunteers from around the world.
