Stay safe in the rain! I hope there’s no more flooding in your house!

Thank you, wfc. I appreciate it. Yes, I expect these crazy storms to be an indicator of a summer that will see highs just as wild, come summer.

I tried to do my laundry yesterday but there were always people in there hogging the machines. Today all 3 washers were free. I took the good two- the third used to have a sign on it saying “broken” and now that’s gone but the inside of the drum has black sticky stuff all around inside. Not a huge amount but a thin layer coating most of the inside. I don’t want to chance that goo getting on my clothes.

Edit- I finally got my clothes and sheets into the dryers! Yay!

I wonder if it is legit the nodules. I asked my mom if my voice ever goes hoarse and she says it does sometimes and I am constantly yanking at my shirt collar because it feels tight. I currently have one of my night "colds." My trans doctor is now also my throyid doctor. I see him next month. I'll ask him then what to do. I've started leaving my house just to distract myself from this stuff. So its kinda a weird change to not have the massive anxiety and paranoia anymore and to now use going out as a distraction from my physical issues. Before I couldn't step foot in a gas station on a weekday. Today I went to two without any problem.

Oo uti’s are dangerous for the elderly. Mum had one too along with her pneumonia. But the antibiotics worked wonders.

Well, I've been in a big funk these last week or so. I was on top of the world around Christmas and I crashed to a very low place and I'm just now starting to come back around to a low-normal. Moods suck these days but at least they are improving. I haven't been around so I have to do some catch up. Hope everyone is doing OK.

Nammu glad Mum is doing better !

~~~~
I would just like to sleep 23 hours a day. Everything is overwhelming. I can’t throw a meal together with out burning it. Had to wash my hair today and OMG it’s such a huge chore. I’d hate myself if I cut it off but waist length hair is a lot of work.
I’m feeling better finally. But Steve is coughing so hard around the clock. Not Covid thankfully
Done with my whine.
Much love to everyone
Oh, no. My N1 has not had it, but N2 has tested positive 5 times. He's vaxxed and boosted, wears a mask, but I guess he catches it because he travels a lot. In my experience, planes are germ beds. I hope NO MORE Ns catch covid!
Can't get motivated at all in the morning and don't feel rested. Six mths ago I didn't feel this way, I was out of bed by 8AM. Hope this doesn't land me back in the hospital.
I felt good to hear a marine biologist on the news say that despite the destruction these storms are causing, the land and ocean are benefiting greatly from the tremendous amount of water.
Tell that to the mom whose 5 year old little boy drowned in their car last week, I realize. My sister often said, "There are 22 sides to the elephant."
Anyway, there'll be some rain overnight and light rain tomorrow. Tuesday is predicted to be sunny. Then some more "showers." Next week will be sunny!
I feel kind-of down today. Tired. I've been trying to find a show or movie to watch, but can't seem to settle on anything. I have Netflix, but the only shows I've watched on it that I've truly enjoyed were Versailles and The Crown. I'm thinking of cancelling Netflix. But I want something to replace it besides Amazon Prime.
Have you tried Peacock? It's cheaper ($5.99) if you can put up with commercials and while I haven't done a lot of digging around it seems to have pretty good selection for that price. I need to cancel Netflix. I did that a while ago and then re-instated it when Call the Midwife was on. But now I'll have that on PBS in March (it won't hit Netflix until fall) and I haven't used it for anything for several weeks so it's time for it to go. If it get bored I can always pick it back up.
I'm tired too. All I want to do is sleep. I hope it gets better for both of us.
I am sorry for this.
perhaps you are not getting enough sleep.how is your sleep hygiene...
your routine...example: no computer one hour before bed time, no electronics for that matter.
perhaps you already have a routine down.????
Has anything changed in your diet or are you late night eating.
I eat out of boredom sometimes and late that interferes with sleep.
the last couple of nights I have been restless. so took a requipt which is for restless legs and it worked. no problem getting to sleep.
sorry if I am going on and on about sleep. I believe that good sleep is key to staying stable.
We have basically every streaming service and we still can't find anything to watch. I watch Hulu the most.
I re-joined Netflix for the same reason But I finished season 11 of Call the Midwife ages ago, watched The Crown, and Netflix has just been a let-down since. I'm cancelling it today. Yes, Peacock is one of the options I'm going to check out. Thank you!
I'm tired too. All I want to do is sleep. I hope it gets better for both of us.
I hope so, too.
btw, S. (formerly med dude) never "looked into" Emsam. Also, my therapist asked him to call her, which he never did. I'm done with him. Sure hope the pdoc I'm scheduled with is more knowledgeable.
Anyway, I hope you're having a better day.
I'm doing decently today. My anxiety was a bit rough and my sleep last night was terrible. I'm feeling better now though. I had to go to 4 stores just to find enough of the right kind of yogurts I eat. The shelves were empty and not just in the yogurt section. I had therapy and it went well but it was mostly her just talking to me about eating stuff the whole time. Shes going to bring in a cupcake for my birthday. She asked if I'd be ok with that and I said yeah. I've never had therapists do anything like that before. Basically it was just another regular session though.
I cancelled my Netflix subscription, so good. Now to check around for another steaming service. I hear you @Mountaindewed. There are so many good movies that none of the services have. I'm really done with paying for services I never or almost never use.
I’m not really
Sure if it’s part of the ocd tendencies I have or not but omg thr urge to nod my head is bad today. I’m sick with panic. If I don’t nod it’s very uncomfortable feeling. Makes my anxiety much worse not to do it. I can usually go off away from
People Todo it but not always
I'm having agoraphobia for a long time now. In December there was a stretch of 15 days when I didn't leave my apt., except to sometimes pick up mail and twice to go to the laundry room.
I kept putting off going to the store, but finally did go today because for the first time in 21 days the rain stopped, so I ventured outside. I had a talk with a neighbor, but felt self-conscious because I was very nervous. Usually, by the time I actually get inside of the store I'm okay. Today, I continued to feel anxious and disconnected.This is not me, I was never like this. I always felt so bad for people (my sister, for example) who had fears of leaving home.
Anyway, it's beautiful to see all the people marching on MLK Day. The rain stopped so they can march in many places. Lots of flooding, though, and of course, it's low income people who are most affected.
