I have had my breakfast here at the Spanish "Coasta del Sol". It is a bit cloudy today. Am now at my room planning the day. Will take a walk around the neigborhood this morning. We don't expect rain, but I will bring my umbrella just in case (They have sunshine at home ).

I'm so sorry for your loss! I can't imagine losing two family members in such rapid succession. I hope whatever needs to happen going forward happens without much trouble. Take care.

@Soupe du jour I am so sorry. You must take time for yourself to grieve the two losses. Don’t be too hard on yourself right now. I have a poster in my room that says “you are doing your best and that is enough” and I think that’s good for you to remember right now.

Oh! I’m so sorry. You’ve had two losses so close together. You will be in my mind today. Sympathy and love go out to you. Be extra nice to yourself.

I am a bit scared because I feel so tired. The winter was hard and I gave into my depression and then I had the toothache, the headache and the pain in my shoulder. I stopped exercising and going for my walks. That was stupid of me, but so it became this last winter season. I have promised myself that this shall not become my bad habits of next winter, but to feel so weak now, really scares me.

But I cannot give in. I have three weeks to get better here at the coast of Spain. One can take long walks at the beach in both directions, so it must give me some health, I hope.

I have been walking around the neighborhood today. It was hard for breath and body! Now I am going read some news and then force myself to do my usual physical exercises and the new ones for my shoulder.

To all those who brought up delivery. Yes I can. Around November I scribed to the local store’s membership, that included free delivery. I had forgotten that. I’m not eating much so will have a hard time ordering enough groceries to make the minimum. But I can also order cat litter and cases of water. Not only will it make the minimum, it means I don’t have to carry those heavy things. Excellent idea, thanks for reminding me I have that.

@Soupe du jour:

So sorry for the loss of your brother. Coming on the heels of the loss of your father, it must be hard to bear. I hope you will be kind, gentle and patient with yourself.

@Valcingetorix5150, also welcoming you to the forum! I have bipolar disorder type 1, as well. And a history of psychosis during my worst episodes. Though I don't have ADHD, my husband does, so I kind of understand the struggles from that disorder, as well. Are you receiving treatment for both disorders? I know some people with bipolar disorder can't easily take ADHD meds.

@~Christina, I hope your step son feels better soon and receives effective treatment for his heart issue. How scary it struck him while on a flight trip for his job.

Thank you for all of the condolences, MSF Friends! They are much appreciated.

@wildflowerchild25, it is a good poster with great advice. I will remind myself of that as I move forward after my losses and other hard challenges. Thank you!

I took a half hour nap at 4PM yesterday afternoon. Then I went to bed at 6 and fell asleep right away. I woke up at 11:15 to ask my brother something. Then I fell back asleep until 4:30. I weighed myself and I had lost another pound since yesterday. I was doing fine until 45 minutes ago. I'm thinking of going on a walk but I don't know if thats a good idea with the heat and my nausea and loss of appetite.

Is Carol Burnett the next Betty White.
