Well! Lots happening! I am moving. so packing, cleaning, etc.
I had the colonoscopy and endoscopy done - all normal, and the biopsies were also negative. So, I know what isn't happening in my gut. I did learn that I have some female issues, and that my OBGYN is having me come in a month early so we can compare notes with the GI on my abdominal pain - see what is causing what. I don't want to go into details that might trigger y'all.
Anyway, wanted to check in.
Oh! While in the ER I learned that I was low on potassium - they gave me some in both, and my doc gave me an Rx for it - man did it help ease my body pain!!!! I wish I could still be on it. But my levels, tho low, "are back in range". I was amazed how my back stopped aching when I took my dose.
Something to think about when looking for a multi. v.
Even tho i'm hardly ever in here, I keep you all in my heart and thoughts!

Jan I am glad you went. When I counsel people with lupus and they think their whole life is ruined I tell them do you have lupus or does lupus have you.

I also tell people you can still do the same things you usually do just differently are smarter. With fibro that rule kinda applies and it kinda doesn't.

We still go on vacations and stuff put we have a game plan so if ABC happens then we need to do this. Also we we go some place we are only there for a certain time. When we travel I have very strict requirements.

I use the same thinking when trying to clean the house. Get up done one thing then lay down after 15 minutes up do something else. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

But I am glad you went and enjoyed yourself

Kiya I am sorry you have to move. All that packing and cleaning would scare the heck out of me. Are you moving by choice ? How are you feeling

Low potassium can also make you dizzy. I have issue with very low potassium low vitamin D and low vitamin B12. Love vitamin D will cause your bones to hurt.

Well I have a nasty migraine and I had several seizures yesterday but it's been really hot here and we do not have any a/c

Hope everyone else is doing ok Liz, Christina and bubbles. We have not heard from her in a long time.

Sending hugs to everyone

Okay I am beyond aggravated !

I have been dealing with scalp psoriasis for a couple years now... The Shampoo and liquid holy hell burning stuff does virtually nothing at this point !

Its embarrasing that I scratch like a dog with fleas... and having a bleeding scalp isn't a joy ride either.

I know I need to go back to Dermatologist and try something else .. Financially thats gonna have to wait .

So basically this is a scratchy whiney ranty mess.

Me ~~~>

Gentle hugs to all

Some states have this and some don't look for a program called AND Aid to the Needy Disabled , it's like 200 bucks a month in cash and Food stamps as well as Medicaid, if you are eventually approved for disability they will deduct the cash assistance out of your back pay. Hope this helps you out, and do not be afraid to ask the hospital to write it off as charity care.

Yeah drug tests are worthless the last 2 Hospital admissions were for seizures ( I have epilepsy it in my records) and for stroke, I take a boatload of Med's including Fentanyl and Oxcycodone they removed my patch in case that was causing delirium and tested me for drugs and alcohol , I do not drink so they get the same zero evertime however in both drug tests the results said NO OPIATES DETECTED, but they are listed in my records and they removed my patch,I slept for like three days and remember the Nurse telling me you have not eaten and have slept for three days so please eat this, and was playing airplane with a spoonfuls of eggs, I told her NO get that away from me , she persisted until I threw the tray across the room, and said who did not get the Memo, what Memo she asked , I said the one from my medical records that says Anaphylaxis Egg Allergy, and she thought I was grumpy NOT, I just did not feel that was a good day to die.So do not believe everything you see on drug tests they are often wrong.

I called my pain management doc and asked how does this happen and she said depending on the time of your last dose of oxcycodone it will not register, Fentanyl they actually have to specify they are looking for it otherwise it is not seen.

Checking in. Survived the tropical storm with no damage at the farm.

Don't know why, but I am exhausted this week. Fell asleep sitting on the sofa the last couple of nights.

I might not be around for a bit. I plan to spend tonight and tomorrow at my mom's house cleaning up the yard. Plus, I feel like I need a break from PC. This is the only place on the site that I don't get irritated reading the posts. I'm tired of whiney, cry baby people posting the same shyte over and over, then never responding to the people who respond to them. I used to really enjoy the current events forum. From the posts there lately apparently the only thing in the news is the election. I'm not leaving. I just need a bit of a break.

First, I forgot my Panic Bag at home, so when I panicked I had nothing to help me. Grrrr on me. I need to add some cookies to it for when my blood sugar drops.

Christina, I have scalp psoriasis, too and I absolutely hate it. A nonprescription shampoo that works is Denorex. It's expensive though. I use one of the prescription kind but it really does no good. I can't afford the Denorex anymore.

The more I talk to you guys the more I realize all these things are tied together.

Cake, I had an apartment inspection by the owners this week, and I used your method to clean. I cleaned one thing and then rested for a while and then got up and tackled something else. It helped a lot. The stress of the inspection set my colitis off but that's another story...

I'm so sorry you've been having seizures again and I'm also sorry you don't have AC. I hope you feel better very soon.

Liz, take care of you. I've had to take breaks from PC in the past, but I always end up coming back here.

I love you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cristina, try to keep your hair as thin as you can. I notice you have long hair. I had to cut mine in hopes it would help, but it didn't and now I have medium-short hair I don't like.

I asked about cutting some hair off .. My Derm said it wouldnt help..

3 Years ago and I thought for some reason I was going to look good with a pixie cut( I was manic as hell) and I literally cried for months ..

Shorter hair is a huge trigger to me. Long story short it goes back to csa,,

I think I might take a chance and get a steroid shot to help at least tame the itvhing down enough to allow the bleeding places to heal some... Steroid is always tricky when Bipolar is in the mix .

Hugs !!!!

Christina, what is the connection between steroids and bipolar?

How is everyone doing? Am still reeling from the events in Orlando yesterday. I don't understand that kind of hatred.

Steroids can often trigger a ugly manic episode. It has happened to me in the past. My asthma was horrible once and I really had no choice and it helped my breathing. But It tossed into a hellish few weeks of a very nasty scary Manic episode.

Well life just sucks. Seizures are a daily thing if not several times a day it's hard to use my right arm it's hard to walk and on top of everything I think I caught the stomach flu. Just what I needed.

Also I received paperwork today regarding my son they are going to take him off our insurance so I have to get a letter signed by his doctor that says he is special needs if not the cost is $1046.00 a month I had to look at it and read it twice. Who do they think we are

I am very lucky to have such a good husband but I wonder sometimes what's his breaking point.

Between lupus, fibro, RA, and pulmonary fibrous life just stinks. Sorry to vent like this.

Take care everyone I am worried about bubbles we have not heard from her in a very long time. I hope she is ok

I am here. I'm so sorry everyone is having such a difficult time.

I reached an impasse last night where I could not sleep in my recliner and had to climb in bed for a few hours. That made my back hurt more and when I woke up I got back in the recliner. If I don't get in bed at least part of the night, my feet and legs swell. What a mess - swelling or severe back pain! I'm so grateful though to have a bed and a recliner - just what I need.

I hope all of you feel better.

Jan I know the feeling

Yesterday and today I have spent more time in the bathroom. Between diarrhea and throwing up I don't know if it's my lupus or the stomach flu so I slept in my sons room so I would not get my hubby sick he does not get sick time. I washed all of our bedding and my sons. But me sleeping in his bed made me not sleep well and the cats not sleep well.

Well our youngest cat thought 2:30 am was a good time to play.

Lord I want sleep and my stomach to stop rolling

Well doctors appointment sucked.
My rib i
Has popped our and there is all these bumps or knots on it. Very very painful I also found another her on my arm and on my hand. They are bone tumors but not cancer so don't worry about it and expect more.

My BP is up 180/120 the rhemy wanted to send me to the ER but kinda of talked her out of it. All they would do is give me something for the pain wait for the BP to go down and once it did they would send me home.

In addition to my normal paid med she gave me something stronger to take only when hubby is home.

I woke up this morning it's shooting pain in my back. I took my morning meds and some motrin I am hoping this helps this morning. Mikey my son has a doctor appointment today at 4 pm I am praying that his psychiatrist will sign his insurance form and I do not have to take him to his primary doctor since he is out of town this week. Sinus he turns 26 next month his insurance gets cut off but since he is special needs I can keep him on with no additional cost. If he was not special needs the cost would be $1045 a month

I hope everyone is doing ok.

Jan my bring just had 8 teeth pulled yesterday. When she texted me last night she was feeling no pain. I hope it continues

Liz yahoo you are on vacation. Please get some rest

Gentle two hugs to all

I don't get this. I have been working like a demon in my yard building fence and prepping a new flower bed. I'm not flaring!?!?! I have sore muscles, but the kind of sore muscles you'd expect from doing this sort of thing. Trust me I'm not complaining, but I don't understand it. Maybe it's because I take breaks when I start to get tired? Plus I'm sleeping 10-11 hours at night.

Ah that makes sense due to the sleeping longer and mentally just knowing you can stop and take a break whenever you bloody well want to ..

As for the pain that is really just due to physical I actually kinda like it.. I know I know sounds weird .. but it's nice to just have average pain and not the skull exploding fibro flares.

I'm sorry I haven't been here. Cake, please take care of yourself. You are certainly caught in a quandary.

Christina, I'm so glad you're not in a horrible flare. No one understands why I sleep a lot and they get after me over it, but it helps to sleep away the pain.

Liz, I hope you're all right. I didn't see a post from you. Maybe I missed it? I hope you're doing well.

September, I hope you're doing well, too.

I am doing well. We've had rain, rain and more rain this week and it's effected me, but it could be so much worse.

Take care everyone! I love you all!
