Sorry everyone.... I went non verbal for a while.. Things to deal with and emotions to shuffle about. I was silently cheering everyone on.

Hopefully I will be back to my normal "over posting" self now

As always ... What was the last nice thing you did for yourself?

Be good and kind to yourself ! Noone else can do it better than you.

Gentle hugs

I'm back to work. I'm working from home. I still really hate my job...

Why do I have to have a call center job?!?

At least I can be in PJs all day right?

I'm here and checking in with everyone. I'm hanging in here and had to start back on my mobic today. Hopefully it will decrease some of the pain. Hugs to all!

Good to see you Christina!

Hugs to everyone.

I'm in the middle of an acid reflux test and having to do without my med....pretty rough at the moment.

Christina I bought myself some nice body wash! I smell good!

Love you all. Take care of yourselves!

I can tell a change in my pain level with the mobic already. It's not a huge change, but it is one for the better. Hurrah! That means I can only take Tylenol when I get my teeth pulled, but it's just going to have to do...

I heard from the ENT. I have thrush in my throat because of all the antibiotics I needed when I had strep over and over again. So, I'll start on lozenges, acidolphilous, and yogurt for that. Who knew? I'm so relieved it's not strep again. Hurrah for once, even though it's a problem.

I called the Dental office and they moved my extraction out a month. They said they didn't want to take a chance. That's ok by me.

So, in a weird way, things are looking up for me.

The Lidocaine really is helping.

I made it a week and the pain went from a 2 up to a 3 at most, Now its virtually gone. Now I just have all the arthritis and these pesky old age pains to manage

But ... Its amazing! I am going to do another 3 or 4 weeky sessions and if I am still going week to week with good pain control I amm going to space out to every 2 weeks and see how that works. There are seeing the best results when its done weekly for a month or so.. and its proving correct for me also.

This is not a cure , I had it done last month and 2 days later a huge weather front came through and my pain went thru the ceiling.. But it is offering more relief than I could imagine.

I would reccomend that you all ask your Doctors if there is someone in your area doing these Lidocaine Iv infusions.. Worth a shot ... I have Medicare and my cost is roughly $ 30-35 per infusion.

Be kind to yourself ! hugs all the way around

Good job Lettingo! I love great smelling stuff!

So awesome that some of you are getting pain relief!

As for me, I just got diagnosed with severe depression. Got put on another medication. They also switched me from alprazolam to lorazepam. Still on the beta blocker metoprolol and the amitriptyline for IBS-D. I'm almost scared of how all this stuff is going to react. Hope it doesn't increase my POTS, IBS-D or fibromyalgia. I need good thoughts you guys, I'm feeling like a sinking ship here...

I am sorry Liz we have another bad storm coming in right now. The thunder we got the other night scared me to death. I don't know how you guys do it who live in places with lighting and thunder storms all the time.

With the new rules on meds I will run out of some of my meds tomorrow. Since tomorrow is a holiday the office is closed so I have to wait till Tuesday. I can barely walk and I have been waiting for this appointment for two weeks because I need a shot in my arm I can hardly use it.

Take care everyone

Hugs

New to the forums figured to check in on this thread. This cold weather is bad for fibromyalgia was not even in the teens today. I spent the day snuggled in a blanket. I usually need to put on three pairs of socks so my feet will stay warm. I don't know how come, but my feet are always cold easily

Welcome Berrry! I'm very glad to meet you. I have a suggestion. I bought a fleece housecoat so it's like wearing a blanket. I can stay warn when I need and change when I need and I'm not stuck in my recliner all the time. I highly suggest it. Shoot me a pm and I'll be glad to give you the name of the company. Again, welcome!

I really want to know what company too. Since I work from home, I'm thinking of buying a darn snuggie!

It's from Women Within. They have smaller sizes, too. The phone number is 1-800-248-2000. It comes in ivory with snow flakes, (my fav), and pink with flowers. I purchased both. They were on sale for $19.99 down from around $40 when I bought them. Just tell the operator what you need. They are so much better than a snuggie! Good luck!
