Seems my guy is done with me. He left me during my most darkest moments. I haven't eaten in almost 7 days and I'm taking tons of pills to try to keep myself calm.

((((( Christina and Hubby ))))))

I'm so sorry that you both have gone through this. What a terrifying situation! I wish you both the best. Here, as long as you send $10 a month to the hospital, they have to leave you alone. Maybe you can do that.

I hope you and your husband feel better very soon.

Love and hugs to you.

I'm so sorry, hon. He is passing up a gem, for sure. Please try to eat something.

I met my new kidney specialist yesterday. He is going to try to get my blood pressure under control. He was very nice and had a good sense of humor. I am pleased.

Christina I am with jan if you can pay $10 a month there is nothing they can do. Also see about getting him a disability attorney. They do not get paid unless you get approved. It can take over a year plus to get approved for disability.

in many states a person qualifies for 'General Assistance', or 'Indigent Aid', once they have filed an application for SocSec Disability,,, even before they submit all the medical files. this includes food stamps, and medicaid~ (which is often given a 30 day pre-date~! try to find out if TN is one of the states which hides this information~

best wishes~

We hired an attorney the day we filed .. It took me almost 3 years to get mine ( with a attorney).. My GP, Pdoc, attorney and T were livid because it took so long.

I am going to the hospital on Tuesday to discuss the bill and what programs they might have to help with a catastrophic bill like this.

Regardless I will send in 10.00 a month.

The only thing that really matters is that my husband is alive. He's more worried about our already battered credit report,,, where as I don't give a shyt about that.

September.... I am so sorry , some humans walking this planet just suck suck suck.

Please do try to eat something and if nothing else buy a pack of ensure or boost.. At least that is something and easy to just slam down. They actually taste good .. I have to use them alot when I fall into anorexia. (( Hugs ))

Best to you both!!! Hugs!!!

And to you all!! Hugs!!

Christina, I agree with the others. Set up some sort of payment plan with the hospital. In my state they are prohibited from dunning you as long as you make the monthly payment.

September, again I agree with the others. He is passing up on a good one. That still doesn't do much to help with your disappointment though.

About the Ensure - if there is a Kroger store near you, you can buy their brand of Ensure for about half of what regular Ensure costs. It's delicious. I've been living on it as a supplement.

I come here to whinge so much I thought I'd post something sort of positive.

Work has been non-stop the last couple of months. I took Friday off to combine with the three day Memorial Day weekend. I've been working like a demon around the farm working on a project I've been putting off 'til I had the time. Been tearing down and old fence and digging up fence posts. For once I'm being sensible about it though. When I get tired I come in the house, cool off and rest. Today I'm muscle sore, but not fibro sore. It feels soooo good to have a reason to be achey! Most people would find that a strange comment, but I know y'all will understand. So much of the time we hurt for no good reason. It's nice to know why and the fact that it will pass with some rest.

Great job Liz !!

My Lidocaine infusion from Thursday is still working pretty well . I would say im at a 5 which is a huge drop for me....

One thing I finally did learn when the infusions first started back in November ... Because my pain was a constant 7+ day in and day out for over 5 years.

I forgot what non fibro pain felt like or more so how to really notice the difference in detail.. Sure if I slammed my toe into the corner of a couch that pain was obviously not fibro.

Before my infusions started I have what seemed like an Xray of every area of my body... I was actually a bit shocked to find out that I have lots of arthritis and pretty hefty spinal stenosis just to start with.

So Lidocaine sometimes gives me a huge amount of relief and other times not so much.

I have been " trying" to be more aware of ways to lessen the amount of strain on my joints and just over doing all the amount of work I do at one time It's hard as I am the type that cant just clean one room, or start something and not push push to get it done.

Since the fiasco of my husband in the hospital which started on Friday the 13th no less. I havent really done more than cooking daily.. My house is a mess.. It's odd that I havent gone on a mass cleaning.. Maybe its Bipolar and I am having a mood shift? i dunno.

I think whats coming up is going to be tough. We bought all new flooring for our home. We are installing it ourselves so not only will there be the physical aspect of all that huge amount of physical labor and of course my house will be a total mess .. Just knowing we will be getting 96 boxes of flooring is going to make my brain melt I "hope" that I am able to keep in perspective that for a while there is going to be mass clutter daily for a long time .. The end result is going to be amazing. Like walking into a new home.

Oh yeah and we have lots of painting we are going to do before we put down the flooring !

Wow I have most certainly rambled , alot.. sorry !

Gentle hugs to one and all..... just remember be kind to yourself

Your house is going to look amazing! Just try to put up with the mess and focus on the goal at the finish line. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so glad your pain is down and that you're doing better. That's such good news!

I have spinal stenosis, too, and know it's no walk in the park. I'm so glad your medicine helps with that pain, too.

Good luck with the home improvements. I come completely unglued when we have stuff like that done. It usually takes twice has long and more money and for me the paint smells put me in an asthma attack

I am so glad your pain level is down

Cake, does the heat make your fibro worse? I have a 3D friend with fibro. We laugh (ironically) that heat makes her feel worse and I love it. Cold makes me worse and she loves it. Go figure.

My family reunion is today. I just don't think I can do it. It's going to be outside in the heat and it's supposed to thunder storm. No one understands when I try to attend something and then just can't make it. Of course the panic has kicked in plus the pain from the fibro. I also feel like I have a cracked rib today. I slipped trying to get out of a chair and hurt my rib.

Well, I went to the reunion. I had a wonderful time except I had a huge panic attack and almost passed out because my sugar levels dropped. I made my apologies and went home and snuggled in the recliner and went to sleep.

I'm fine today. Thank you all for your wonderful advice. I should have listened to you.

Did you have your panic bag with you? Glad you were able to go a bit, and also take care of your self and snuggle in your chair!
