Welcome Berry sorry I haven't been around much saw the rhemy on Tuesday got a shot and I am running a 103.5 fever. The doctor is worried about me but we had another crisis today my daughter got rear ended on the freeway. People forget how to drive in the rain.

She's not hurt she drives a 1980 chevy blazer but the car that hit her was a little car and has thousands of dollars with of damage. They saw a young girl and did not want to give their information she panicked and called me I had her call 911 which she had o call twice because they were trying to leave.

If it's not one thing it's another. But if the doctor says I need to go into the hospital this time I will go.

In addition to fibro I have lupus and RA and pulmonary fibrous to name a few. The fevers are kinda a lupus thing but she's really concerned about what my blood work showed.

Also I have a very low vitamin D count and that can cause bone pain but the weather right now is making it hard for me to even move. So try and stay warm but when you are running a high fever you don't want to be under the blankets. My hubby walked in and I had the ceiling fan going and shorts on. It was 58 degrees in the house but my face was bright red and he said my eyes were glazed.

Oh Cake, please take good care of yourself. You're very loved here, you know.

Berry, try to hurry on the fleece gown because I'm afraid they'll be sold out of them. Take care and I'm glad you found us.

I hurt last night and I'm hurting today but the big snow has started, so I guess that's what happens in super bad weather like this. Everyone take care and stay safe, please!

Today I found out I had exhausted my FMLA leave entitlement. I may lose my job. I had no idea this had happened and was shocked right off my rocker.

I literally attempted to hurt myself to get away from the misery. The physical pain I'm always in, the passing out, the heavy stress from my job, it all came to a head today.

If they fire me, I'll just take a little time to focus on getting better. Then I'll find a job I love. I'll never settle again just because it "Pays well". Money can't buy you happiness...

It's been cold here and I am having trouble walking and just getting up. I laid in bed all night with pain and the same thing today. The shot I got on Tuesday didn't help much

Just take one day at a time sometimes one hour at a time or even 5 minutes at a time.

Cakeladie, am going to echo what Jan said. Folks here care for you. Please take care of yourself. Glazed eyes sounds scary.

We aren't having the snow that the rest of the country is getting, but weather here sucks too. I hurt like holy bejebbers as a result.

((((( September )))))

Please, please take good care of yourself. I'm sure you'll find another job that you like, although I know it's easy for me to see when I'm not you.

((((( Cake & Liz )))))

I hope your pain lessens. I hope you feel better very soon.

Well went to the pulmonary doctor today. I have 2 ear infections and he is advising against chemo at this time and I agree. I could have a month or 10 years left left but going through chemo is very stressful on the body and mind and he thinks I will have a melt down so for now we are holding off

I hope everyone is doing well my thoughts and prayers are with all of you

Hugs

Oh Cake I am so sorry that your dealing with so damn much it's just not fair !!!!

I know you struggle when it comes to taking care of yourself , You seem to always do do do for others .. I know you want to do things for everyone... but the reality of it is your not allowing yourself to look after your own damn self, nurse yourself and regain some strength.

I don't want to nag you.. But please remember you dont have toddlers.. Focus on you and only you ...

Hellos and gentle hugs to everyone...

Sorry I haven't been posting much .. I think I literally have the attention span of a gnat ..

I am still getting good results from the IV Lidocaine infusions.. Of course I am looking at the financial aspect of it , Yep that pesky money issue

I'm still seeing my T weekly, something I do really need. But that is 20.00 and then the Lidocaine weekly is 32..00 .. For some that might not seem like much .. but for me it is.

Getting the pain relief is fantastic and I do wonder if I cant afford them anymore what is going to happen to me mentally and physically.

So... Things to worry about and determine what I can actually afford..

I hope everyone is taken time to be kind to yourself

Cakeladie, ear infections! No wonder you feel awful! Like Christina I'm not going to nag, but she's right that you don't have toddlers in your house. Let them take care of them selves.

Christina, are there any assistance plans that could help pay for the lidocaine? You are getting such good relief from them, I'd hate to see you have to stop.

Cake, Christina and Liz, I hope you all feel better.

Oh Cake, please do what's best for you. I hope your ears feel better. I hope you feel better.

Christina, I know that's a huge expense! I hope you can find a financial plan that will help you pay for the pain infusions.

Liz, I hope you feel better. This storm has certainly taken it's toll on us, hasn't it?

Love to all!!!!!!!!!!

Since this Doctor is the only doctor in the entire state that offers this Lidocaine infusions I am not sure .. I dont have to go to monthly appts as they are not actually prescribing me any meds. I can get the Lidocaine weekly if I want , I am hoping to stretch them to every 2 weeks .

I will be going to the billing dept after my treatment on Thursday ,, I was told that they are wonderful at working out payment plans .. we shall see ...

Lettingo... I hope your ok and your recovery is quick. Let me know how you are

Gentle hugs all the way around

Hey guys.......thanks for thinking of me...

I have to have a hiatal hernia repaired and some reconstruction on my esophagus. Thankfully it can be done laproscopically tho I'm sure it still won't be a picnic.

I will update you guys when I can next week.....

LettinGo, if you don't mind, I'll say prayers for you. I have a friend who had that done and he said it wasn't bad. Please let us know how you are as soon as possible.

I tried to take Nystatin for the stuff in my throat, but it makes me too sick. I'm going to try home remedies. I just don't know what else to do....

I have no doubt in my mind that I have fibromyalgia. I'm undiagnosed because, apparently, I have really bad luck with doctors even believing it's a thing. I had to run a lot of errands on little sleep yesterday, so I am paying for it today. The weather is wet and cold, too, so that's not helping. Literally everything hurts right now; I'm sure you all know the feeling.

Don't let anyone tell you not to sweat the small stuff. I don't have anything truly big in my health dossier like cancer, thank goodness. But I've got a ton of tinier problems, all adding up to too much pain and trouble. The docs don't know where to start... and how does that make *me* feel? And try getting around to this clinic and that, try that specialist over there or maybe this one the next day... I know you need a week to recover, but is it so bad? Yeah, it is; try living with fibromyalgia when you don't have a car, can't afford a taxi, and can only use public transit. I'm not "disabled enough" to qualify for a wheelchair or for the charity taxi service called HopeLink... but too disabled to ride the bus thither and yon to get to all these different clinics and specialists. And no sympathy from a professional who pulls in a six-figure income!

Okay, enough grousing about class warfare, pain and suffering. I just wish I could sleep, but the pain is keeping me up. Maybe I'll go wake my partner and have him TLC me for a bit.
