Now that I'm back to working five days a week I may not be here as much. I come home so tired I don't even turn the computer on.

The flare is flaming. I think even my hair and fingernails hurt. CBD oil was a waste of money for me. All I want to do is curl up on the sofa with my blankie. Instead I have to go to Mom's to check on things, weed, etc. It's been two weeks since I was there. Gawd forbid a weed sprout in the flowerbed.

I believe being able to laugh at ourselves over this crap helps. I was so tired one night this week I fell asleep lifting a cookie to my mouth! Woke myself up dropping the cookie in my lap.

Struggling with sleep.
Ambien has been very agitating for me. Had to stop taking it; waiting for it to fully get out of my system and hoping the agitation goes with it.

Just checking in.
Love to All!

Liz, Thanks for sharing your experience with CBD oil.
I am finding mmj helpful with a few symptoms. It's expensive though; it costs more than most of my prescriptions (per month).

Most recent flare has calmed down, but I'm still exhausted. I have 1 -2 years before I can retire. That seems like a long, long time right now.

I think of y'all during the day, planning to come and post when I get home. Instead I crash on the sofa until it's time to crawl into bed.

I'm hoping to get myself a new shower chair soon

hopefully a more stable one than what I had- I must admit, I'm a bit apprihensive about trying a new one (because of their instability), but I do need one again- it's got to that point where I am just aching

my pain today is half pain, half tickle. it is strange

I have still not slept

I'm just feeling overwhelmed today. After a few days of less pain, less exhaustion it's back times 10. Pain is through the roof. Exhausted doesn't come close to describing how I feel. I'm shaking all over. I'm leaning on things when I walk. I'm telling myself this will pass, but I'm having trouble believing it today. Gawd I hate this!

Gus, my friends would probably chalk it up to me pigheaded.

I've got to hang on until next summer. I'll be old enough to go on Medicare then. Health insurance at my company sucks rocks, but I have to have health insurance.

in a lot of pain today.

I had to go up the shop this morning in order to get some washing up powder (so I could do the laundry), but I wish I hadn't- I was all ready in agony, now it's worse

... no sleep again. just lots and lots of flashbacks

blah

Jan is very ill, and not getting better... she continues to go out for food and meds, but it is very hard for her. her state offers her NO HELP (hate that!).

i don't think there is anything we can do but hold her in our hearts and minds, Possum. she has at least one IRL Friend there. i have offered to try and get her help, but she's determined to go it on her own... (must respect that ~! )

it's not as if any of us will escape death; may we meet it as a friend~!

Thanks Gus. I do respect Jan and miss her and her exploits of Belle. Glad that she has one friend irl to help. I do hold her in my heart and think of her often. Life is like that picture of that Cactus. Lots of thorns/pain but pretty when it comes out in flowers.
