can't really comment on today... I lost so much time today it's hard to remember things I did

I know I watched mr tumble, I know I had a less than average meal, and I know I didn't sleep

but I lost a lot of time otherwise so unsure of what else

Hi all. I have heard from Jan, but on general things.
Cake, I’m so sorry about your dog

I too have crashed and that dominoed. I did a 12 hour gig, then 3 days later went kayaking when I was still too tired but I forced myself.
That ended up with me accidentally getting hit with if when it fell off the suv and I now have concussion, a hurt neck and shoulder.
This is all leading to depression.
Huzzah
Lesson- listen to your body, don’t overdo. In the case of overdone, REST fully.

I miss all of you.

Is has been a very stressful emotional summer for my family. A lot more downs then up in fact the only could thing from this summer is that my daughter moved back home and is away from her abusive boyfriend. But trying to get her adjusted to a "normal" life has been hard and challenging.

I am still here and I miss you all. I see a lot of new people so I will have to get to know everyone.

Take care

I don't sleep either

my reason is because my body doesn't send signals to the brain when I need to rest

and I can't lie down because my back just goes

pain's been very off and on.

on wednesday it was terrible, I honestly thought I was going to die (it felt like my body was just trying to tell me okay, I'm screwed, I can last one mor night, then I'm going to go)

yesterday it was okay, just a little stiffness in the evening

and today my shoulders are acting all stiff and icky

I showered this morning and that's probably why.. triggered extra pain

I love the cooler weather, but my body does not!

It's toadally pfreaky how badly the pain levels spike as soon as it gets cold!

Ow! Ow! Ow!

hey pfrog, I don't think I've ever seen your name in this thread- so welcome

yeah the cold can play a big part... like you I love the cooler weather (I really enjoy rain too), but the pain doesn't.

luckily for me (I think it's lucky), my room is well insulated so I don't feel the chill 24/7

I'd be in here all hot (sometimes too hot), then step out in to the arctic air

I am so very sorry you cannot sleep!
I have insomnia, too. I am seeing a sleep specialist soon and I hope he can help.

Thinking of you.

Thank you Liz. She knew. She was on the stretcher and they where taking her to the back the whole time her eyes had been closed while we talked to her and gave her treats but when they lifted her up she opened her eyes and turned her head and looked directly at me. It broke my heart and I still can't stop crying. We are having her cremated but I am not sure I can go in and pick up her ashes. The night before she crossed McGee slept in the dog house with her. She didn't want to come in to her kennel. Now McGee is sleeping between me and hubby everynight kinda like he is afraid something is going to happen to us. He's glued to be during the day

I've used up all of today's spoons as well as some of tomorrow's ... Got most of my chores done, though ... Will spend tomorrow resting up so I can be all bright and shiny for work come Monday morning - even though a cold front will be moving in, and like lizardlady before me up there, I already know it's gonna wreak havoc on every inch of my body inside and out!

I decided to give myself a break this weekend. Not going to Mom's to work on stuff at all this weekend. Putter around the house a bit yesterday and will again today, but am spending most of my time vegged out on the sofa reading and/or watching DVDs.

Pain level is through the roof this weekend with a cold front moving through. I love the weather this time of year, but it kills me.
