Ohhhhh Sky I used to have Earthlink... it did that to me all the time. I had sooo many problems with them it was horrible. Get rid of them if you can! I've gone with a local now. I really like it . Its high speed digital cable. Every once in awhile I gotta put up with an update like I did a few weeks ago after the hour of 1am -6am but thats ok cause I needed to be in bed anyways lol. But yeah... I definitely would be asking Earthlink about it.

I have been getting the following lately:

569 No Data
This Web page could not be opened with the specified browser request. Please try again later.

I use by "back" icon and then click it a second time and it usually goes through. Sometimes though I get another simular thing saying a number and the website is experiencing either technical problems or is too busy try later. I again use "back" and reclick and it goes through.

I really liked Earthlink, but I never thought they could have been responsible for errors I sometimes got on some sites. I really liked them in general, and I would like a spam control program like theirs (not just any spam filter, but one that allows a user to ONLY receive email from those in their address book or a whitelist, dumps all others BUT sends a customized email to those who get dumped, views mail on the server, doesn't require Outlook--all these things are important), but I'll be dumping them because I'm with Verizon DSL now. I just have to switch my email accounts over.

Yes I do like earthlink (and yahoo) email for their filtering capabilities. I wonder why the ISP would be able to handle all the other pages here, and only pull errors on the threads at a certain time during the night. I know that PC used to do updates and stuff (site maintenance) around 1 am or so but it messed up with those online in CA and I thought it was pushed later.... this was my first thought...it's so consistent.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
