I have been dealing with depression for a while now, by myself. I know i should seek help, but i feel like it is hopeless and I dont want to do this alone. I have been engaged for about a year now, and I dont even feel like I can talk to my Fianc'e about how I feel. I feel like I have No One to talk to and it is driving me crazy. Im to the point where I dont know how to go about anything anymore. I am very confused. Lately, I have been starting to think that things are getting worse, I am ALOT more irritable, and I have been getting really really angry for no reason. I just really need some support from someone, because I feel like I am slipping deeper into the hole im in.

Hi MamazAngel,
Why can't you talk to your fiancee' about how you're feeling? Does it have something to do with him and the wedding? If you're getting married than shouldn't he be your best friend? Don't you trust him?
I'm sorry you're feeling so all alone with your sadness. I think your answer could be standing right there in front of you though.

Hello Mamazangel.
welcome to Psych central. I have depression as well and the right therapy and right attitude can help the majority of people to some degree. sometimes life gets overwhelming and there is more involved than just feeling out of sorts, it can be from a chemical imbalance that needs to be treated with therapy and medication. I hope you seek the professinal treatment you need and deserve to help you fel better and improve how you feel. Take care Soidhonia

I can identify with you. My medical insurance does not cover psychotherapy and for that reason, I am now forced to deal with my depression by myself too. My GP put me on medication but, it doesn't help.
I have been with my partner for 20 years and I too cannot talk to her as I know it will only worry her. Dealing with it alone sucks so, if you can get therapy and medication it really is the best thing to do.

Having someone to talk to is so helpful. If you can see a therapist, I'd recommend it. I'm glad you found PC and hope you won't feel so alone here.
