Not feeling too good this night. Feel like I should just go to sleep asap. I was up real late and don't know if I'll be able to sleep.

Why when I am starting to move forward with my life, do things conspire to make things much harder than they should be?

It's not fair.

Yep it does that to me, too. Never fails. Just be careful when things go good or you get feeling good, I always say.

My 3 pairs of arch support sandals are being handed off from UPS to the post office. I HATE when they do this. The postal carrier will NOT come into this building to deliver my packages. I can't even get down the stairs to try to meet them outside.

I don't know what to do other than ask one of the young people who deliver my food to go pick up my stuff for me. (Which will cost me $50, I think - if it's lower than that they might say no.)

They're wonderful sandals and they keep me from getting crippling foot pain. I want my damned stuff! Why is that mail carrier such an asshole?

I am sorry! It reminds me the situation I am in, accessible public transportation is not reliable, so I have to take accessible private vans (which implies an extra cost). It is not fair

I agree. I don't go anywhere hardly, but my insurance doesn't include those transportations. It kept me from being able to do the iop at the hospital three years ago.

And today, my teeth are acting up and one of them is making me miserable. At least I have the 800 mg prescription of ibuprofen. And some rum and some vodka if it gets any worse. 😭

Thank you. I've been putting off my dental issues for several years and I've been afraid because they all have to come out. That's a big part of why I'm afraid of moving. I live near the only place where I can get that done, i think. I have been panicking for a very long time over it. 😵

Angelique, I completely understand your dental anxieties.. I have as well, I had to have dentures on bottom when I was 30 and it was really hard.. I had a very compassionate dentist who did the best for me. which helped.. I dread going to dentist.. I hope it goes well for you

Thank you so much for posting. I don't think I can even get dentures now because of the bone loss. I dont want to face the rest of my life toothless, but several teeth have already broken near the gum line leaving the roots to still get infected, etc. I'm so scared of all this. But thank you so much for posting, it helps not to feel all alone with this. Daily Check In, ups and downs #18

Just posting a follow up to my packages, i don't know who delivered it but I just got one of my pairs of sandals, i think. So, thanks go out in the universe for that. Just 3 more packages to go, i think.
ETA I just received all three pairs! Now it's just one other product to go.

Yes, thanks! Much better than I expected. Maybe the post office told UPS to take the package, i don't know. Always worrying about how I'll get it is having a chilling effect on what I think is worth getting. Daily Check In, ups and downs #18

I'm ready to end it. I'm tired of holding on. Don't think I'll do it tonight, but soon.....

I am surviving.

not good, but not bad

just in the middle (which i suppose is a bit better than the last few days)

i got really angry with myself- i deleted an address from my thunderbird email addressbook which i didn't mean to do. it was only after it was deleted it was like.. uh, right, that address belonged to such and such- i needed that

oh well not really any way to get it back

I am not very familiar with Thunderbolt but would it be possible to go back and look through your "sent" emails and get the address?

Feeling really down today.

Possible trigger:

I start a new job tomorrow and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I just hope I can handle it.
