I'm sorry that your father treats you this way. It isn't right. There just isn't enough that I can do to help you from so far away. You really need to talk to someone in real life about this - your friend would be a start, but an adult would be in a position to do more to help. Is there someone you can trust? A teacher, a doctor, a church leader? Maybe your friend can help you think of someone.

Oh, BTW, eating your popcorn that way is understandable and pretty normal for someone who is upset, although eating for comfort can lead to its own kind of problems, so it might be something you would want to pay attention to.

You're a bright, intelligent, sensitive person, and you are on the right track. You know that you deserve to be treated better, and you are looking for help and support. You can get a lot of support here, and I'm confident that you can find someone who will help you in real life.
