Hi,

Im about the age of 20 and Ive got a few problems.

The first problem is that Im nervous, Im very nervous. I get nervous by a simple things which guides me to more complicated verbal talks, fights etc.. I changed since I enter the puberty. I really want to change my behaviour but I oftenly feel like I cant control that, like its something inside of me, like Im under his jurisdiction you know.

Im very senstive also and I sense everything whats going on. Sometimes I even get a wrong picture about something and when I find myself in a situation like that Im very week and my attitude then is very transparent.

These two are the major psychological problems Im facing it atm . I really need a guide or a tip or something how to change my behaviour I really cannot keep living like that anymore I feel like Im gonna blow in a little pieces when I try to control my anger and not show to anyone.

Please help!

Thank you in advance.

Hi Nathan - I struggled with years with anger - finally one day when I was visiting my doctor for an eye injury that I got from trying to fix the couch cover and then getting furious with it I mentioned the anger. He said anger is thought to be related to fear. Anyway, he gave me a prescription for Lexapro. I can tell you it has helped immensely. It has been sooo nice not to get angry about every little thing. I understand Lexapro is prescribed for anxiety and depression. I have read where some people have side effects from it but I have not had any - except for no anger which has been so nice. I tried "controlling" my anger and it just never worked and this did. Good luck with the issue and take care.

Hi nathan, Good for you wanting to do something about your anger. A lot of people feel it justified and continue on blindly.

Its ok to be angry but its the getting angry thats hard to control.

I've found talking about what angers me and writing it down helps me see it objectively, helps give me time between the thought and the action.

That way its a win/win situation. Takes practice and time but it does eventually work.
