Since I started going to college. Classmates weren't as bad as they used to be and I liked the teachers and classwork in general. The schedule of lectures and lab work is pretty neat too... now I have accepted (for the thousand and final time) I cannot be a doctor I'll focus on B.Sc.

Well not fully but things are under control. I just need to graduate fast and GTFO out of here ASAP... before that I believe I will get a geared motorbike. I am gonna live independently.

two nights ago I thought I was going crazy....
I was only thinking about where is my valium...
I decided to see what would happen if I didn't take a 5mg tab...
well the next day went pretty good....
I think it was like a brain storm...and it cleared..
I don't like this depression crap..

is anybody here have the side effect of akathisia......what is it like

It's pretty terrifying. First my mind felt restless, then my legs started feeling restless and I couldn't sit still. I had to walk and walk...walk indoors of course...at times I knocked over furniture in my way...I would get exhausted from walking so much, yet I wouldn't be able to sit still or lie down....my legs would feel so restless. It was very painful.

No. Because I can’t tolerate medication. So it’s fortunate that Fuzzybear is a “strong” bear... no implication at all that anyone here isn’t “strong”

Sounds awful I did take that serokill for a while... some doctors try to push that for severe depression and anxiety etc. But I went off it cold turkey (allergic rash) .. so I had to. But the weight gain etc is concerning, and also that ...

desiree that akathisia sounds terrible...do you have it now...

I can't take medication either. The side effects make matters worse for me and I get no benefit from them. Diazapam works a bit but the GP will only give a few for emergencies.

I guess not tolerating meds means we have only our inner strength to draw on. Guess we are all trying to get through in our own best way.

“A permanent solution to a temporary problem” - this is one of the rather over used phrases that I personally don’t find particularly helpful. It’s been used so often...

Anyway I salute all those who put up with “sub optimal thoughts” and emotional pain (which I think would include everyone here)
