Lately I have been worrying a lot about different things. Worrying if my friends like me or not to just worrying about every little thing. to the point it stresses me out. I was just wondering is this a sign of depression?

Worrying can make you depressed. Chronic worrying is moreso a symptom of anxiety, like as a symptom of generalized anxiety disorder (link here: http://psychcentral.com/disorders/sx24.htm )
I'm not a doctor, but if it's bothering you - do you have a therapist or a doctor or someone to talk to about this? ((((((((((((((((gindy75)))))))))))))))) welcome to PC.

Hey Gindy;
This maybe a sign of depression, but to be sure you should see your doctor and tell them what you are feeling. If your primary doctor can't help you, it wouldn't be a bad idea to look for a pdoc, who can confirm where it is or isn't. Good luck

We learn how to worry and be anxious because we grew up without security. You can recover in therapy and seeking out answers whereever you can find them (reading, the web, here).
