I now believe there is and have been angels looking out for me. Yesterday as I was turning the corner in my car a loud crashing noise happened and my car wouldn't move. I was stuck in the middle of the street and traffic was bad. Cars were almost hitting me. Several people stopped and asked me if I needed help. I called AAA for a tow. The police came and blocked off the street so there wouldn't be an accident. Finally the police had to tow my car as they had to get it out of rush hour traffic. They took the car to Mr. Tire where I have gone before for repairs. I hardly said anything to the man at Mr. Tire. But he went ahead and took a look at my car and told me that whoever worked on the control arm didn't bolt it down right and it caused a lot of damage to my car. The man at Mr. Tire told me to call the place who did the work on my car and tell him he wanted to talk to him. The man at Mr. Tire was very angry at the shoddy work that had been done and stood up for me to the other place. I didn't even ask him to. I found out this morning that the other place had came last night and picked up my car to work on it. The man at Mr. Tire told me that after they fix it to bring it back to him because he was going to inspect it and see if they did the job right. I didn't ask anything of this man but he really stood up for me. This man and the others yesterday were all angels! There have been lots of others in my life, too, I now realize.

Saw my new counselor today. Found out she is also an art therapist. She is really nice. Talked about the ED and PTSD and discovered I have low self esteem; I couldn't say anything good about myself. So I'm supposed to find one good thing to say about myself every day. That is harder than I thought.

Had a small pizza with tomato and banana peppers last night. That's all I had the whole day but it probably had more calories than I wanted to eat. Going to make something with ground chuck today. Not sure what yet. Feeling nervous today for some reason.

Today I had the ground chuck. I fried it and then drained it then put half a jar of spaghetti sauce on it and about a cup and a half of water. I had some rice, too. So I put the mixture of some of it over some rice and topped it with some parmesan cheese. It was pretty good. I had to eat a little more. I wasn't eating enough and was feeling weak. It's strange how I go from one extreme to another. From eating way too much to not eating enough. There has to be a happy medium somewhere. Well that was my dinner and for lunch I had a piece of rye toast with butter and 2 sunny side up eggs fried in cooking spray. I guess I may have an apple later on.

Where is everyone at? No one comes here anymore it seems. I don't know why and if you do please tell me. I'm trying to get better and have set backs at times, too. Isn't that what this is about, supporting each other in this.

Hi. I think we set the clocks back tonight. Feeling so tired today. Not sure but I may have taken too much of my meds. Gotto be more careful. Had a porkchop, pan fried, tonight and some strawberries. Tasted good. Hope you all have a good weekend.

Didn't have a good day yesterday. Had a horrible migraine. I had a sandwich and that was it. Ended up in the ER and feeling much better today.

I'm really struggling with not having the funds to buy food. The little bit of food that is in the house requires work to fix and I just don't have the energy to fix it. Really getting stressed which isn't a good thing with an ED.

Do you have a friend who can fix the food for you? Sometimes I feel that way too but have been making myself get up and fix something simple like eggs and toast.

Was given a turkey and all the trimmings from my church, however the turkey is still frozen. Guess I won't be stuffing myself today. Good thing, I am feeling like I am gaining weight since I have not been working. Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving if you celebrate.

Thanks buttrfli, my computer had a virus and I was having some trouble getting online lately. I stayed home for Thanksgiving. I'm up real late. I had to download a new browser and bookmark the main sites I go to. I don't know why those hackers get a thrill out of giving virus' to peoples computers. Don't they have anything better to do...had to rant a little. I had quite a hard time getting back online. One good thing is that I didn't have to take my computer in to the shop...That wouldve cost me 100.00 or so..

How are things going for you now?

Yesterday I only had chips and salsa to eat. Today I am off to a better start, granola with almond milk for breakfast.

Seeing a dietician can be very helpful. I went to one a few times and should go back for a refresher course..lol..they have some very good tips on eating nutritiously.

small meal... big binge

I'd not eaten anything before mealtime, it's just strange how you go for small meals, then binge on the good stuff later on
