I'm kind of weird but I don't like meat and bread together because I feel like I am not getting the full flavor. Like I can't taste the meat all I'm tasting is bread. But I'll eat bread by itself as long as it doesn't have butter so I'm getting the full bread flavor and not any butter. Idk maybe its just some more disordered ******** behavior I came up with.

I have a book of monks recipes - they eat three things at meals, but just one thing at a time, in order to really commune with the one thing. It made me feel better cuz thats how i pretty much eat.

Also, like i love classical music, but i find live concerts too distracting. I cant concentrate on the music. I see the performers moving around and all my attention goes there. Like why is the solo violinist lady wearing such a low cut dress? I guess she was good, but between her neckline and her tossing her hair around, i didnt hear nuthin!

So i think thats along the same lines.

I went to Sonic at 7AM as soon as they opened and ordered a small popcorn chicken and a medium order of fries. The guy was kinda rude to us. I don't think they like making fried foods first thing in the morning. Then why they do have an all day menu... anyways I'm not sure if I'll end up being low on food or not today. I don't have any plans to really eat much of anything else. I'm tired and worn out from lack of caffeine and I don't know what else, and I'm very busy. I'm not even in the mood for tic tacs.

My new med is wrecking my appetite but its working so well for my mental health. I almost collasped today while playing an outdoor game in the heat but everyone else was really into it so I couldn't just quit.

I have to admit though I hate eating in front of people but I did bring my own food.

I never thought I'd say this, but I didn't enjoy my mcdonalds yesterday

it was still good, but 2 things spoiled it:

1. having an out of date dip (it tasted gross!)

I got some more cheese and yogurt today so at least I'm getting some protein. I have a lot of 30gram protein shakes too that I've been drinking. I hope my pdoc doesn't decide to send me IP when I see him next month. I've almost been sent to the ED unit twice before for food restrction related stuff. I swear its mostly been the new med though this time.

I don't feel well.

got a peace of food caught in my throat this evening

I had a nice mcdonalds yesterday.

after 7 days of poor eating, (and I mean really poor), it was defenetly welcomed

I haven't been going to Overeaters Anonymous meetings lately, but I've been eating pretty healthy.

My endocrinologist gave me a free trial of a device that I can wear on my arm to continuously monitor blood sugar and mine has been in range most of the time. Also, my a1c went down from 6.1 to 5.9. That's still prediabetic range, but going in the right direction. I don't think I'll get full-blown diabetes yet.

I looked at my food log just now and realized I accidently forgot to eat today. I had a pack of tic tacs around midnight and then a Little Debbie brownie at 7AM and a piece of brie cheese at 11AM. But yeah nothing actually substanional. I was out this morning and had to much on my mind to think about food and I just forgot... my mom is picking me up a soft pretzel from Sams Club and then I'll have some applesauce to make up for it. I was wondering why I was so woozy.

My eating kinda sucked again today. My therapist got pissed at me the last time I did that even though it was not on purpose. Today it wasn't on purpose either. It was this heat and then I forgot by accident. I did though buy a 4 pack of orange tic tacs and a container of berry and a container of fruity ones. Then I threw in a couple containers of sour Ice Breaker mints. I've still just been craving them to be honest.

My weight is still technically in the obese range (especially because I'm only 5'2"), but I am glad that I brought my a1c down.

My therapist is going to be pissed if this continues. I don't see her for several more days so hopefully it improves.

She did get a bit pissed. I had to tell her I was legit really trying. I stopped the tic tacs for health reasons. Today I kinda ate. Mostly in the early morning though. What I ate wasn't bad. What I drank was.

I had a bagged salad for breakfast AND lunch. Now im heating up some brussels sprouts. They are smelling up the house!

Calorie wise today was ok. Quantity wise was not so good. I'm getting better and better at controlling my appetite but I'm not really restricting either. I'm just staying the same and trying to stick to 3 meals and a soda or 2. Lately though I've had to wait around for meals to be ready so I'm just stuck dealing with my hunger for an hour or so. I'm not sure if thats restriction or not. I mean it is ok to be hungry sometimes.

Today I didn't do too bad. I had a couple Cokes and a couple bottles of Sunny D but I just legit wasn't hungry. I ate a mexican pizza from Taco Bell and I just now had a tablespoon of Wow butter. I am way under what my therapist wants me to eat but I'm really not very hungry today. It has nothing to do with restriction. I was going to go get some more plant based eggs since I've been wanting eggs lately.
