Okay, I will admit it wasn't really a "small" slip up. In addition to all my meals today I ate 3, yes THREE slices of pie. starting fresh tomorrow. I feel like giving up, I can't control myself. I really hate how fat I am

I'm going to start walking tomorrow. I have no physical activity I do, I just lay in bed all day, need to get moving. Why am I so disgusting?

For me, starting after i see the city inspector! But in the meantime, i am washing and putting away socks and pants and tees .
Thanks for this!

Way to go Bluebird! That is so exciting. And you're doing it the right way - my nurse told me loosing over time is so good for you.

I'm so glad you started this thread because I have been looking for something like this. I'm on day 12 of eating healthy and exercising once a day. I eat fruits, veggies, nuts, and meat / seafood. Then ride the stationary bike each night. So far I haven't lost but it's only day 12! I'm aiming for 60 days because I read online that's how long it takes to make a new habit stick.

How many days has it been for you?

Really looking forward to being part of this! Thank you.
Thanks for this!

Thanks for joining in! I'm actually back to day 1 I think 60 days is a good goal, I'm gonna try that too. I had oatmeal for breakfast and will take a walk later

I had a spinach omelete and some hot chocolate to warm up on this cold morning. Will walk later too.

Yay for day one for you! It's never too late to start over. I've learned that progress in anything but especially weight loss isn't a straight arrow up, but a jagged line full of ups and downs. Glad to be part of this with you!

Up early and not hungry. Will eat a banana and some nuts. And a hot chocolate of course - I know its sugary but its only 90 calories and really helps to start the day.

Haven't been doing so good the past few days. Slipped up on my new way of eating and haven't exercised. The weekend is just so challenging for me. Gonna hit the restart button tomorrow morning.

I love hot chocolate, especially on chilly days. It's hard to resist

Did well today, drank lots of water and only had a cup of soda the whole day. (I don't mean that's the only thing I had all day, I ate too of course)

Day 2 is going pretty well. I had a cup of soda with my lunch, that's my limit though. I'll only have 1 cup each day if it happens to be around the house unless it's a special occasion or something.

Dinner will be a salad, Salisbury steak and mashed potatoes. I'll probably have an apple for a snack before that

I feel like this is the time I'm going to succeed, I know it's an ongoing process (losing and maintaining weight) but I feel like I'm getting better at the self control thing, I've even managed to save a few dollars (unrelated) and that's usually unheard of for me, I typically spend every penny I get.

My incentive is to save my money until I reach my goal weight and then have fun with whatever I've saved in that amount of time

That's such a good incentive! Maybe I will try it.

So far today I had a protein bar and peanut butter nut bites for breakfast, then a peach, turkey and cheese for lunch with a couple potato chips - I know they're not the best choice but I think I slipped up so bad this weekend because I've been so restrictive. I'm going to let my body have a little bit of what it wants instead.

Haven't worked out in 6 days I'm in a slump and have been busy. Will try to ride my bike this evening.

Are you on MyFitnessPal Blue_bird?

Day 3, I did have a cheat snack in the middle of the night but it was something small and lowfat.

Trying to drink more water, I put lemon in it usually. Having a cup right now.

I added you!

Hopefully I'll use it everyday. It's hard to track food I think.

Today has been a slow start as I have no commitments. Drank my hot chocolate for breakfast and had soup for lunch. More soup for dinner and I made special "cookie" balls out of cashews in my food processor for dessert. YUM.
Thanks for this!

Did fairly well today, did have a treat for a snack today (a few mini donuts and butterscotch soda) I have to let myself have a little treat every now and then if I completely deprive myself of something I'll end up bingeing on junk food like crazy and ruining my progress

Did ok today. Had the strangest breakfast because I ran out of healthy stuff and my husband's taquitos for his lunch later in the day looked so good. Random! Lunch and dinner are both low calorie and I'm meeting my goal for the day so I'm feeling pretty good.

It's expensive but delicious! http://www.amazon.com/Flying-Cauldro...terscotch+beer

It's made to be like "butterbeer" in the Harry Potter books/movies

I've decided I'm not going to really try to lose weight until after the holidays. I will try to maintain where I'm at and not get bigger but I will enjoy the wonderful treats and food. I'll get really serious about my weight loss after January

Also - yeah, im just trying to get thru these apartment cleaning days. I can barely open my refrigerator door. I will try not to just eat cheese sandwiches!
Thanks for this!

Good idea, its too hard to miss out on holiday treats. I think I will allow myself a couple treats too. And then get really serious in January.
Thanks for this!

Trying to drink more water, I need to get some zero calorie flavor things, plain water gets boring fast.

I took a picture of my stomach from the side so I could have a reference comparison photo for when I reach my goal. Lets just say, yuck!
