I am on Ozempic and do not experience gastro side effects. There were some in the beginning but they were transient. Now I have no side effects to that med.

I have stomach reactions to quite a bit of foods. I had a plant based meat bowl from Chipotles for dinner and it was so spicy I couldn't finish it and I was in the bathroom 10 minutes later and now I have a bad stomach ache and I'm about to take a dramamine. I also had a protein shake for breakfast and he put like whey powder or something in it which didn't agree with me.
I have inflamation in my throat or whatever they said. I should be avoiding a lot of stuff __________________ I'm Blue |

I really like my new personal trainer. Today, he showed me many ways how to use a rowing machine to exercise different muscles. Who would have thought that a rower is such a versatile piece of equipment.

I haven't been too hungry since cutting back on my Topamax. Which seems backwards but it does seem to be working. I also got my brain back and I can talk to people again. I still am doing fine without meat.
Theres this good brand of gluten free mac and chese that I like even though I'm not gluten free. Its called Banza and its made with chickpeas. I don't know if its any healthier then regular mac and cheese, but it tastes better. Then theres Annies vegan pumpkin and lentil mac and cheese which is good. Don't eat Daiya unless you truly are vegan or just like it for some reason. Their vegan pizzas are ok but not the mac and cheese. __________________ I'm Blue |

30 mins on a recumbent bike. A "rolling hills" workout. Rather leisurely, with HR around 108-111, but still.

Peed AND biked yesterday. Huge nonscale victories today - first, i did not have to stop and rest after my shower, i was not out of breath. 2nd, after my repeat mammogram i ubered to the shopping district and picked up my insulin (late again), walked across the street to get $100 in laundry quarters, then a short walk to krogers for veggies etc and just regular cheddar cheese. I really need new glasses, i cant see shyte on the shelves.
Then ubered home. The driver made me walk like 25 yards down to his car!!! I was like, "didnt you see me waving at you?!" He goes, "are you done?" It was effin hilarious. I didnt know key and peele were driving uber on the side. Anyway - i havent done this level of activity since "before panini" as someone said yesterday on youtube. |

I just grazed today mostly. I had half a granola bar and couple sodas this morning around 6AM. Then at 7:30 I got an iced matcha that had no flavor. Which was weird. It was just like this skim milk with a hint of unsweetened matcha. I drank less than half of it. I drank my iced tea, not like that had much flavor either.
I shared a box of Annies sweet potato and pumkin pasta for lunch with my niece at 11. Neither of us finished the 2.5 serving box. After that I had a honey nut Cheerios granola bar and a Goldfish graham for a snack and a few pickle/ cool ranch Doritos for dinner. It wasn't the best but my stomach feels fine. __________________ I'm Blue |

Another personal training session. Still exploratory, still a lot of time spent with the trainer explaining things, but I did some exercises, including one that is (I forgot the name) squatting with a barbell that is moving up and down a stand and then leg presses and the weight was 140 lbs. My legs got tired.
Then I did 44 mins on a recumbent bike, alternating higher and lower resistance. It is a fancy bike with many workouts and RunTV. One of the workouts I did today showed a video as if I had been biking in a national park in Virginia (I forgot which one) in the fall. Beautiful, stunning foliage! And I was glad it was on screen and I did not actually bike there, because I would have been afraid of cars. There were some cars. The top of my thighs are pleasantly tired now. I wonder if I will feel sore when I wake up tomorrow. __________________ Bipolar I w/psychotic features Last inpatient stay in 2018 Geodon 40 mg Seroquel 75 mg Gabapentin 1200 mg+Vitamin B-complex (against extrapyramidal side effects) Long term side effects from medications, some of them discontinued: - hypothyroidism - obesity BMI ~ 38 |

I wounder what would happen if I went a day without calorie counting and just did intuitive eating. Idk. I've always counted my calories as best as I could, but maybe I'll try it.

I think that's a good idea Moutaindewed. It's always good to mix things up. I've heard people can sometimes lose weight by not calorie counting. Actually I have , 15 lbs once and 30some another time. I did follow some basic guidelines but I ate what I wanted and didn't calorie count.
This time around I'm seen very frequently entering food into my tracker and I'm losing that weight. Whatever works I guess as long as it is safe. __________________ Bipolar 1, PTSD, GAD, OCD. I’m reading on here because I’ve done no exercise bar one half hour swim these last 2 weeks because of a horrible virus. Anyhow I hope to get myself into a routine once Christmas madness at work is out of the way.

Grapes in general are unkind to blood sugar per a report from one the CGM companies I am subscribed to, probably Levels. So it is important to not eat them alone but pair them with protein. But I love the taste of unadulterated cotton candy grapes! Not paired with anything...

Three activities this evening:
- Yin yoga for 60 mins. It's yoga for the connective tissue. Second time at this studio but today there was a different teacher. She is fantastic, what can I say. I plan to go every Friday. - 44 mins on the recumbent bike at the gym, all while looking at that Virginia national park on video and listening to music by Tchaikovsky. Serene. Did not work up sweat or got my heart rate up, but did increase resistance to work my lega. - 22 mins a recumbent elliptical. Could have continued but the gym closed. Now I am hungry.
