Elated to have seen upon waking that my house is looking great, and all the work is really making a difference. It wasn't just a dream---I've had many dreams where I had gotten all the organizing done, and woken up only to find it was imagined. Now it's real and it's paying off in huge good feelings.

This is a very big deal for me. It's been almost eight years of feeling horrible about the state of things.

Now, I can even, almost, picture having people over, a few close friends. What a change.

Thanks! Put my hearing aids on just to listen--it's so easy to stay isolated without sound! Again Thanks!!!

You might be having a reaction to dreams you were having...how are you now? What med is it, if you don't mind me asking? You don't have to answer that of course...I am just the queen of bad side effects with psych meds. Check the side effects online or with the information that came with the med, the paperwork. You can also call a pharmacy that is open all night if you can find one online.

But hang in there and breathe, try and stay calm (easier said than done). It could be all anxiety...I know I have had similar feelings/symptoms before.

Thanks and i dont mind you asking i really know nothing about MedS or side effectes of the medS.... I never took any meds before at all but He put me on Buspirone and Citalopram. I am feeling a lil better now since my husband got up cause I wanted to go to ER but I ended just asking him to bring me back home, so I do believe it was anxiety. It was my first to wake me up from my sleep so it really frightened me!

Buspar is extremely mild, drug-wise...I am assuming you got started at a low dose and are titrating upward. I wouldn't think you would have a side effect from day one unless you were allergic. As for the other, also assuming you are titrating slowly...it's a drug you could maybe be more likely to have side effects from (as in, more side effects are possible than with buspar, as far as I am aware...I have been on both.). But if you are overly anxious and having anxious dreams I could see you as waking up that way.
I am glad you are feeling better...anxiety is a terrible feeling. I do hope those meds work for you. If this happens again or you continue to feel this anxious, I would definitely call your dr. Until the other drugs kick in, maybe they can give you a drug like valium or ativan (in the benzodiazapine group) to take the edge off of your anxiety.

I am happy to be home from work. It has become very anti-social with my coworkers. Mgmt has informed me they are both to be dismissed in the near future, but in the meantime, it is stressful working under them. I can feel the tension and resentment in the air.
