I’m feeling nervous. I am trying to ignore tensions.

You've contributed a lot of important things here, as well.

Keep us updated on your tapestry making projects, please. The ancient and peaceful art of tapestry. Wow.
Thank you very much for being so understanding of why I've needed to be absent here. Having a very good therapist has made a good impression on both my daughter and I, and we are making progress. I have been given another week's sickleave in addition to last week by my Chief. During this time in-between therapist sessions I've been studying to become a partner in my practice where I work. This is at my Chief's request, which makes my study all the better because it's going to mean a great career move.

I bought a 100-inch upright Gobelin loom, several cartons of woollen and linen coloured yearns, and a very good book called The Technique of Woven Tapestry by Tadek Beutlicc, long sadly passed, and a second-hand tome by Peter Collingwood, The Techniques of Rug Weaving. These, my daughter remarked, 'should keep you out of mischief'. Cheeky monkey! True, though. Today I had a bonfire in the garden. Glad there was no wind or I might have torched the neighbour's hedge.

I've already started setting up the warm and begun the botton part using Soumak weaving, illustrated on You Tube (sorry I can't find the instructional atm). It's very interesting though.

Christmas for some can be a real pain, and I'm not going to say that it's going to be brilliant with my parents no longer around. But my Chief and his wife are our immediate neighbours have invited us to Christmas with them, and that is such a loving offer which I have already accepted.

Today my daughter came bouncing out of her new school. She's loving it and has already made friends. The school will break up for Christmas and New Year, but the time she's spending with them now is valuable, and she's already getting well into her classes. I am so relieved.

Well, thank you again @mote.of.soul. I wish you a happy week. Take care and

Aaw, you're an inspiration @Access Denied. Thanks for the very heartwarming update, friend, you're a great warrior of the spirit and very good mum, that's obvious.

I was reading about the Gobelin's and, yes, it's very interesting as you all ready know.

Not great but I’m trying to hang on. I have to have my job fill out some paperwork for social security and I am dreading doing it.

Thanks you two specially @SlumberKitty and @mote.of.soul for what you shared. My loom is looking good and is being so rewarding.

As for me, I'm being away from PC so I can receive a lot of guidance, my daughter also, from a very good therapist.

Until the sessions are over I am unlikely to return to PC. It is imperitive that I take special care of myself, because I remain fragile and therefore very wary. Recently I was very hurt, and this is why I remain wary.

My daughter although has no such deep hangups as me, she is needful of help to clarify some important personal questions. For the few who know, thank you so much for the encouragement and support given us during these extremely difficult times.

My Chief at work is our neighbour. He and his wife have been marvellous to us. They are such kind and deeply caring people and I know that if I ever went ill, the wife would take care of my daughter if need be.

I seem to have gotten my anxiety mostly under control. I had a lot of caffeine today. Now I just feel tired.

I’d think I’d feel better if I took off my pants that are slightly too tight.

I slept for three and a-half continuous hours and feel pretty good right now. Could be worse.
