Well, I'm not doing so hot with my plans. Weight loss thread

But I did plan out meals for the week. Unfortunately, hubby wants chili for dinner tomorrow. He and everyone else, apparently, for the big game.

The best I can do with that is to not put the cheese on (can't have it anyway) and to use turkey instead of beef.

I'll keep trying and keep working on structuring my eating and my day to include healthier habits.

six ham slices are only 70 calories? wow - what kind of ham is it?

And congrats on the 3 pounds, btw. My husband said that he can see the difference that the gym has made, but of course the insecure part of me wondered if he was just saying that to boost my ego... :\

It's Buddig Deli Cuts lunch meat. It's my favorite kind, even better than Hillshire Farms.

I had 2 more ounces of sweet potato chips while watching a movie last night, and another lemonade.

I used to be able to see a difference after only 5 pounds, since I'm so short, but I've packed on 10 pounds since August. Weight loss thread My goal is to get rid of those, and then hopefully another 5-10, no more than 25 total.

I just read another post in Relationships that's got me feeling like crap, and the first thing that came to mind was eat, eat, eat. Dammit, I'm not gonna let someone else's comment undo the real effort I've put in on myself the last two weeks.

no way, man. We are healthy women. We love taking care of ourselves. We treat our bodies as if they belong to celebrities. (repeat 3 times).

I don't remember what I ate yesterday, but had sushi + seaweed salad for dinner last night.

So far today:
2 pieces of toast
4 cups of green tea
1 cup of white rice with 2/3 cup of asparagus sauteed in olive oil

... you know, if we are really serious about losing weight, we all REALLY SHOULD make a point to do some exercise and list it.

I haven't done any today, but plan to go for a run before it gets dark. I don't know how far I go, probably somewhere between 2-3 miles, but I go for 45 minutes or so.
