so I get home last night and my wife tells me she packed my bag...

WTF?............now what did I do?

wait........sleep study.............remember?..........oh God not tonight
yes.......great.......

my technician was very nice although sleeping with 20 leads in your hair...4 on your legs......2 belts on your chest....2 things wrapped around your nose and a pulse monitor strapped to your finger isnt what I call restful sleep....

anyway I stopped breathing between 30-35 times per hour
(normal is like 1-5)

she tried two different masks on me during the night....neither would fit my huge noggin....I dont know when I go back to see the doctor but im sure im in for another lesson in weight loss

now if i can get all this putty out of my hair...........

Who knows what I have, LOL. With my asthma I wake because I can't breathe every few hours. But my husband snores and that sometimes keeps me awake and then I get to listening to his breathing and his snoring will change so it's hard to hear his breathing and I'll like hold my breath to listen to see if I can hear him. . . . I have severe Sleep Apnea!.........woo hoo!

and the funny thing is although I didnt sleep very well....the oxygen
i got thru the mask did make me feel less groggy this morning

( I was planning on going from the sleep center straight to work, but
had some " pep" in me I guess from the oxygen, so I went back home ( around 6am) and surprised wifey in her sleep.... I have severe Sleep Apnea!.........woo hoo!

My husband went thru this a year or two ago and yes - weight loss is the number one remedy if you are carrying around extra weight and suffer from sleep apnea.

I am thinking about finally signing up with the NutriSystem Program...... want to join with Me?

I was diagnosed with sleep apnea two years ago. I can not get used to the mask. I have tried different ones and even the nasal one...still cant get used to it
hope you have better luck than me...

Good luck getting the goo out of your hair, I hope the tech didn't scrap your scalp, my head hurt for a week with cuts. But I failed the sleep study, I didn't sleep solid. My husband has sleep apnea as well, he stopped about the same amount as you, and he moves all night long. He doesn't use the mask, he did lose weight, but still stops breathing.

Good luck on cutting back on food, it's hard to do but you can do it.

May each day bring you much happiness!
