Anyone know of a way to combat frequent gas?

I've tried beano. I've tried some natural 'supplement' gas relief daily thing I found at Rite Aid once. I've trid gas-x or maalox + gas relief afterwards. But nothing ever seems to work.

I always get worse when I start eating better (more veggies, more fiber). But everyone tells me "oh, it will go away when you keep eating this way for a long time." Well...it doesn't go away. I'm always this bad. And of course it's worse when I drink soda, or when I have dairy products or veggies like broccoli, cabbage, asparagus, and of course beans.

It can be rather embarrassing sometimes. I try to control it the best I can but sometimes you just can't!

Any suggestions?!

There are so many things that can contribute to this, but you already know about some foods.... If you eat high fat foods and eat those particular foods too, that will cause such a reaction. It's only once you clear your body of the crud that eating the healthy foods won't cause much of that.

But... do you chew with your mouth open? Do you gulp your food, your drinks? Do you snore? Do you chew gum? Are you allergic?

I mean... the list goes on and on. But carbonated drinks will surely instigate the problem.

Do you take digestive enzymes? Possibly you are lacking them.
