Do these actually safely work? I've tried just about everything else and unless I take large amounts of stuff nothing works anymore. I've decided to try chocolate laxatives next. Theres some horror stories out there about these. But Idk what else I'm willing to try.

@Mountaindewed, my friend was advised by their prescriber to use smooth move tea available at Whole Foods for $5 and also at Wegmans. There are 20 tea bags. I boil the water for 3 minutes in the microwave and then put in the tea bag with a saucer over it and let it steep for a while. I make it ahead and keep in jar in refrigerator.

The other item they used was Miralax. That tended to be more active than Smooth Move Tea so they saved that for bad situations and used Smooth Move Tea on a daily basis.

The other thing they do that helps is to eat fruits and veggies and drink lots of water.

Hope you find a solution that works for you. @CANDC

Eat high fiber foods and drink lots of water. Make yourself oatmeal with fruits for breakfast. Veggies salad for lunch.

I think the chocolate laxatives work, but as folks are suggesting, try foods with lots of fiber and drink lots of water first to see if that works.
