I'm having better days, I should be a little happier, but I feel like an ungrateful little so and so because I'm not really happy for what I have and want more. I have no idea where my life's going or what I'm gonna do. I'm feeling very emotional and insecure at the moment, time won't go fast enough for me, but I don't want to grow up or age either. i'm tired of hiding it, the unhappiness inside just grows and grows everyday. I feel all alone, even the people that love me, I'm not comfortable enough to come out to them.

It seriously means so much to have so much support here. I don't think I could keep going without being able to rant every now and then.. just having people that listen and talk to makes such a difference. Thank you to all my friends here at transgender and other support.

It can really help just to let things out and know people who care are listening to you. Rant all you need to my friend!

I DID IT!

I scheduled my first HRT appointment with a clinic in Chicago! I have massive anxiety when talking on the phone. But the person who answered was really nice. And I did it!!!!!

So, I've just started using this website again but I don't think I ever posted in this forum, so just introducing myself if that's ok.
I'm Anthony, I'm 16 years old and I'm nonbinary (somewhere between agender and male). I'm not out to many people outside of the internet (just a few friends, and none of them are trans) so I kind of need somewhere to talk about trans stuff.
So yeah. Hi everyone

Thanks for the welcome everyone
Very excited rn since apparently my new binder just arrived (though won't be able to wear it till Wednesday). Hopefully it fits, because otherwise it's going to be a hassle to send it back.

It seems to fit well, but I only wore it for an hour before it started feeling weird so I took it off.
For some reason I didn't expect the texture to be like it was, but it isn't so bad, and the binder works really well, so... *shrugs*
Anyone got any tips about wearing binders or anything that I should know? I already know about not wearing them for too long (about 8 hours).

Taking a couple of deep breaths after taking it off, depending on how tightly you bind this can help your lungs.
Thanks for this!

I wear a sports bra under my binder for some comfort. The odd texture of binding material is itchy to me. So wearing something like a sports bra or something under it can make it more comfortable.

Hope this helps!

TheSeamster: I didn't find the texture too bad, but I did notice that it did start hurting my back quite quickly. Would a sports bra be more comfortable in terms of that? (Don't have one but maybe that's a good thing to look into?)
