I'm quickly reaching my own breaking point but I don't want to post here. Don't want to hijack the thread so please don't ask here. The Breaking Point

Signs:
emotions running too high, even for me
feeling physically ill with nothing coming to the top
quick mood swings
sleep disturbances
the thought "I don't want to be here" beginning to form (and NO not even anywhere close to suicidal, I just want to be somewhere else, very far away!)
everything seems to have exploded SOOOOO far beyond reality

((((((((((((Tomi)))))))))))))) The things you listed sure sound like you might be closing in on your breaking point. I've sent you a pm and I want you to post here or anywhere else if it will help.

Ozzie

Sorry being here is hard but I wanted to say I understand that feeling. Not sure whether finding it hard is related to breaking points; mine is quite close too at the moment - but it would be even closer if I allowed myself to relax. So I don't. It's a weird situation, but I do believe sometimes it is possible to delay the breakdown. Unfortunately I think we lose something of ourself in the process.

Thanks for your reply Caroline. I was at my breaking point several weeks back and have already taken the necessary actions to prevent it. I'm getting more rest and have seen my doctors. I'm working now on getting my emotional strengh and my ability to trust back.

Just knowing everyone here witnessed my breaking point is one thing that makes it hard for me to be here. As most of you know, I used to talk a lot but not that much about what was going on with me. I'm trying to do more of that now too. It's hard for me.

Just wanted to say, ozzie, that I have "been there, done that" in terms of having to make the switch (on other boards) from solely supporting others to expressing my issues. I know it isn't easy. I respect you for the way you are approaching it here.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
