I've been so moody today. I got moody because of someone. I don't want to tell. Then all these thoughts came into my mind and I feel guilt or something. I cut myself today, it felt good when I bled and I wanted to overdose on sleeping pills but I'm too scared. The negative thoughts still came to my mind. I started punching myself hard. I'm just a waste of space. My mum is called me a attention seeking ***** yesterday and I'm annoying everyone. But I don't help because I'm a attention seeker and a ***** and stubborn. I wish I was never born. I feel like I'm going around in circles. I'm just a nasty *****.

(((happycheeks))) - I'm so sorry you're upset and it would bother me too, if I was called names like that. Are you getting help for the depression? Remember how you were upset before....then it passed and you felt better? Try to remember, these feelings will pass but you need safe coping mechanisms, rather than self destructive ones.
Do you have a therapist - if you do, it would be good if your therapist could talk to your mom. It's not right that she talks to you like this and it's sounds like she needs stress relief too. Don't believe those words, they're not true. I wonder if her parents treated her that way? I pray you feel better soon and you really do matter. ![]() ![]()

I care about you. Everyone needs attention. I've never understood the notion of calling someone an attention-seeker; babies even fail to thrive without enough attention. Your mother wants your attention when she calls you an attention-seeker! Please consider jogging or running for the endorphin-release instead of hurting yourself.

I'm here for you. You're not alone in this..not ever. My BiPolar bible says over and over "treat BiPolar first". No matter what else is going on-separate your soul from the condition and treat it like the disorder it is. I'm not the disorder and neither are you. I know..easier said than done. It takes tons of practice and I fail sometimes. In your case, you have to treat cutting first. Quitting that is a lot like quitting cigarettes..it helps a lot to wear a patch or use gum. The "patch" for cutting is a doll. Use a razor and cut it in the place/s you want to cut on yourself..as many times as you need to. It'll release emotions that you need to get out. My ex successfully quit by using ice..she would hold it in her hands until she couldn't stand it anymore. Just take each problem one at a time, ok? Don't try to battle them all at once. I believe in you.

Don't let your mother or anyone else make you feel bad. I know it's hard, but I write alot and that gets my bad emotions out.
Families don't understand what someone is going through unless they went through it themselves or reacted the same way. I suggest getting a therapist, if your hurting yourself then they can give you all kinds of coping mechanisms that are healthy.

You know, my mom pulls that attention seeking stuff too. I think it is something that went into childrearing about fifty years ago or soemthing. It's bunk, but hurtful. Just remember, it's bunk. And so what if you need attention? If you need it that badly, then hon, you'd better get it!
HUGGGGS. Try to get a little excercise, out and away from family or so. They just sound kind of irritates and fussy with themselves, hon. Take care! |

Sometimes my mother thought I was attention-seeking, too, when I was depressed. Now she understands better. I hope someday your mother better understands you and your situation, too. You don't deserve to be called names
