I agree w/ OKSO!
Someone purposefully directed the animal welfare agency to the link to create chaos and harm on all parties.
This was a viscious attack.
There is nothing to justify this type of behavior!

I'm not going to rehash what I've already said repeatedly about what I was told and how they ended up here. If you know something I don't know, please fill me in, and not just what you're speculating, but what you know. Everyone else has been supportive, and all you've done is tell me how positively in the wrong I was.

Besides, the dog was adopted out yesterday.

I am shocked and saddened by this. I'm so sorry it happened to you. I'm sorry that the agency was swayed by someone else's problem and subsequent choice of behavior. I may have missed something about this, but can't/won't the agency share the source with you? I believe you absolutely have the right to know who did this. I believe that anything that influenced their decision should be out in the open, not protecting someone who took it upon themselves to interfere.

Aaarrggghh. I'm still just shaking my head.

She wouldn't tell me who contacted them. She'd barely let me get a word in edgewise. Just kept saying I hurt their feelings and that they couldn't work with me any more and had such high hopes for us and the dog, and that I need to watch what I put in print from now on. My daughter even sent the foster mom an email and she never got an answer.

You HURT their feelings??? Is THAT the issue?? OMG!! Surely not!

The fact remains that a member here acted vindictively! That's worse than anything you could have said!

What a shame. And I can't help but think "Oh whaaa. Poor wittle agency. You hurt their feelings by expressing your frustration. Waaahhh." As an agency, aren't they supposed to be professional? I'm not discounting feelings or feeling hurt, but seriously. What if my doctor decided to refuse to treat me because I hurt his feelings? Sheesh.

Still shaking my head. Wish I could wave a magic wand, reverse time, and make this go away for you.

Oh dear, I am so terribly sorry. What an awful thing to do! I will never understand people.

If you go read my poem in CC named "Just let it go", it's about certain people that I know that comes here and reads everything that I write in here and I'm afraid they will hurt me personnally, like someone did to you, in my real life.

I'm so glad that Dr.John is doing something about this and I surely hope he will succeed in founding who it is that did this to you. Thank you Dr.John!

P.S. I also hope that this site could be more secure because it's a very good site but too many people can read without being a member.

Jennie, I hope it didn't have anything to do with the fact that this is a mental health site. She just said over and over that I "hurt their feelings." I didn't even have time to give a good answer. I was totally blindsided by the call, no warning whatsoever. All I could say was that I had been frustrated and was voicing my feelings, but it wasn't a good enough explanation for her. I doubt that she even looked at the date of the posts or even read so far to see that after she called me on Wednesday I explained all of the mistakes and that they'd been taken care of.


She probably thinks I'm some completely insane person who has no business taking care of an animal, let alone kids.

Ok, thanks for clearing that up. I got a little confused.
I don't see how they can hold this site as an accountablity to you when it is annoyomous and if they are saying no dog because of your posts, which how can they confirm you IRL are you on PC, I just guess I would file suit against them for defamation of character and for dicrimintating against the mentally ill.
Something more has to be done.

I haven't heard anything yet. I just PMd DocJohn asking if he's gotten any info from them.

As much as I don't want to, I think I might have to call the president again and try to get some info from her. The call on Saturday didn't end too well. She just kept saying over and over that they refused to work with me. I finally just said "OK, fine." and hung up.

I feel like I'm dealing with a bunch of 5-year-olds with their "You hurt our feelings and now we're taking our dog and leaving." Not professional at all. But I guess that's their prerogative.

Regardless of finding out who contacted the agency, I'm going to do something personally about it. Something perfectly legal and responsible, and hopefully it's going to benefit each and every one of us who deals with mental illness, not just on this site, in some way.

When I find out more, I'll let you all know.
