Hi,

Can I be stronger than emptiness ?

After having read all those posted messages, I felt upbeat, but I know moments fades away..

I've felt dead inside since so long.....

But reading this Forum somehow revived me, still I'm still wondering if a dead man can live again.

Sincerely,

Starbuck

Starbuck,

If reading this forum revives you, then please keep reading. I know all too well that empty feeling, because I have been there myself. But I also know it does not have to last, and the best way to fill that emptiness is with the help of others. So when your own strength flags, there is someone else to lean on until you are strong again.

So please keep reading, and writing, and let us hold you up until you can stand on your own. And I know that you will "live again." Can I be stronger than emptiness ?

*hugs*
mj

Starbuck,

That a good response by MJ, she has a knack for saying the right things. Often we have to gain strength from others in order to get thru a day, or an hour. I've felt comfort many times by the things I've read here when I thought nothing could pick me up. Read all you can. You'll see members who were in the pits, and somehow managed to pick themselves back up again. Those are amazing success stories!

We can always live again, but watch out for your own expectations. There will always be pitfalls, and making it thru those can seems like an eternity. Try to live every good day like the miracle it truly is.

You're not on this path alone, a lot of us can relate. And we'll walk it with you...and maybe tell you some really bad jokes Can I be stronger than emptiness ?. I hope it gets better real soon.

Oh, and welcome to the forums! I'm sorry it's taken so long for me to get around to that Can I be stronger than emptiness ?

Greg

Can I be stronger than emptiness ? I hope you don't mind hugs.

We've all been where you are now and some of us are still there, but I'm here to tell you, you will live again! It's a tough feeling to overcome but you can do it. We're all here to "hold you up," just like MJ said, until you can stand on your own. But please, don't neglect your 3D life, ok? (3D=real)

Starbuck,

Hey man, you'll be OK. The subject line on this really grabbed my attention, I thought it was the beginning line of a deep and moving poem and it started my mind wandering back to all those times I used poetry as a release for my troubled and confused heart...

The revival you mentioned was something I could relate to also. I think for some of us it is greatly helpful to feel that what we've experienced has at least one benefit. It can be used to connect to others and be, even for short times, a helper instead of the helpless. That can begin a process of increased self-value which has the same rollercoaster effect as depression over time...

Best of luck to you and all...

Hello, Thank You all for your replies.

This brings me help and comfort. I know also I have to recheck my expectations.

But the attitude question, I think, is fundamental here. This is what I've learned here and on other similar Forums in Canada.

So it came to me that I had no real positive attitude, on the contrary, I'd become quite cynic and pessimistic about life in general, and my life in particular.

So thank you again for your comments, they're all very useful to me.

Have a nice weekend and take care.

Sincerely,

Starbuck

You can definatly feel stronger, reading postive posts can make you feel that way, then you that's what it is doing.

is that making sense? I'm tired today and don't know if what I am writing makes sense.

Do what makes you feel good... I know how that feels with feeling empty, i've been there too many times, take care of yourself.
