I'm struggling with..needing someone to hear me. I feel lost among the noise of daily life. It seems everyone is too busy to hear me and what is happening within my mind. I can't seem to get a understanding as to why I need someone to hear my (silent screams) for help. I'm in therapy, (again) but still need more then what is presently available. How can I get heard. How can I stop the thoughts which are haunting my mind. Journaling just brings up more paniky feeling.

Perhaps you could talk to your therapist for more structure, like a psychiatric rehabilitation therapy program where you're with a bunch of people and read about self esteem and do art and have book club and learn about overcoming shame and have social clubs or a partial hospitlaization program where, again, you're with other people going through the same stuff, and there's individual and group attention together, working together to get yourself HEARD. I'm not sure the resources your community has....but your T sure would know...there's a lot out there.....write us again and update us... I just want someone to hear me....

Hello Jeremiahgirl.
I am sorry you are feeling that you are not heard at times. Journaling is very good for people who feel that they are not heard enough, also as suggested getting therapy is very good at advocating what you need for your mental health and emotional stability. I hope the best foryou in the future. Welcome to Psych Central. Soidhonia
