Whenever someone is angry at me, even if they're not really and I'm just being stupid and I think they are, it triggers all this stuff from when I was a kid. I try to pretend I'm alright and ignore things that happen around me but sometimes I get dragged in and then I feel like a target is painted on me and it makes everything come back up and I can see it and I can feel it.

I know what you mean. It has helped me to remind myself I have just been triggered and I am not seeing the situation for what it is. I also try to get away--usually to a bathroom--to do some slow, careful, mindful breathing.

![]() Stupid emotions, thinking people hate me when I can't tell if they do. ![]() Making me feel guilty. Stupid guilt. Stupid guilt messing my head up and making me feel like I have to visit my brother in jail... shouldn't feel like that, I know he's bad, he was the one who did the bad stuff, but in flashbacks I always turn it into my fault ![]() All because I'm dumb and I think everyone's emotions are to me. Can't say things... silence isn't a productive way of coping. ![]() |
