Hey, I saw some women doing some boxing moves at the gym the other day and I wanted to join in. Of course, they were only jabbing at the instructor's hands. I wouldn't really want to give or receive real punches. It looked real tough - the coordination and the footwork. A real workout

Ohhhhhh it's so worth it. You can wrap your hands to protect them and they give you these gloves. My boxing instructor uses the mitts too, that you punch into, and he gets you all mad... Ooh! It's a great work out. So recommended. Would you box?
Thanks for this!

I would love to play around with it - not really punching people but doing the footwork and coordination and punching the mitts. My little 5 year old grandson now has a punching bag hanging from the family room and his 16 month old brother is so cute trying to imitate big brother by kicking the bag but can't because he's way too little. But I'm too busy now with improving my swimming, weight training and kayaking. Can't add more stuff yet.

Insomnia, again. It's like I'm fighting sleep. Weird.

Also, I've got the "nobody cares" violin playing in my head.

It's a concerto backed by a full orchestra tonight. The woe!

Sigh.

Ugh, my post just disappeared. I will try again.
It's been so hot here today and i can't get out much (117 degree heat index - 165 degree difference from 6 months ago). I hate being home too much cause I just sit and think.
Emotionally i am a train wreck. Trying to let things out with T, but have such a strong reflex not to. My pdoc gave up on me yesterday, so I am feeling really hopeless right now.
Thanks for this!

I am feeling great this morning. Taking my dog to the groomer, picking up my granddaughter, and then off to work in my classroom at school. I am still elated at what happened in my session yesterday. My therapist and I connected on a totally different level. It was magical!

Tomorrow my husband is having surgery to replace his internal morphine pump and spinal cord stimulator. It should be routine and we'll be home by mid-afternoon, but I am always anxious when he has surgeries as he's had some really serious post-surgical complications in the past.

Tonight we're taking the kids out to a movie and dinner, so that should be fun.
Thanks for this!

Doing pretty well today - going to go to the park soon to hear a concert. A friend of mine is playing the guitar/singing. I do have one question, though. I'd like to add a picture to my profile name but I don't know how.
Thanks for this!

What movie are you seeing, fg? My girls and I saw Harry Potter over the weekend and enjoyed it. The end of an era for kids who grew up with HP!

Good luck to your H and may his surgery be complication free.

Yes, we are going to see HP for the second time. We all went to the midnight showing last week. In fact, we saw the first part and the second part back to back. So much fun. Tonight we are going to a dine in theater. The kids have never been to one, so they'll have great fun.
