I'm heading off to my first DBT group. I feel like it's the first day of school and I've dressed a bit like that too, wearing a retro denim dress with black pumps. I feel very put together, as if I'm announcing to everyone "I'm not borderline. I have my life fairly together."

And indeed the more I read this book about someone who has BPD I'm more convinced than ever that I don't have it. I just need a little help regulating my emotions SOMEtimes and really when I'm not on a drug that makes me suicidal I'm generally NOT suicidal! I just made one poor decision, a couple of times and I'm sorry I did it and I won't do it again. (well, okay I can't promise that but still... It's true I don't want to kill myself anymore.) so why do I have to go to this stupid class? It's really a bit unfair but nonetheless I will try to learn some new coping skills. What can it hurt, right?

Sitting right in the middle of Tropical Depression Beryl. Dropping quite a bit of rain on us and it's windy too. I hope it slacks off between now and when I go to T at 4pm. I don't normally feel joyful about going to therapy, but I can't wait for next session because these past few days have been quite f ucked up. It's embarrassing.

I'm not looking forward to my session tomorrow. I made a bit of a fool of myself with T on Friday (I left a very needy phone message, then called him back and said never mind). He left me a message last night to please reconsider calling him again, since he wanted to talk to me. I didn't call, nor will I.

Oh well, at least I know what we're going to talk about tomorrow.

Thanks for the cookies Elbie...delicious For those of you with T today I hope all is well. It raining my way too, tomorrow is supposed to be worse. I have Pdoc tomorrow for new meds and T Friday, come on weekend.

Husband has his 3rd hearing tomorrow at 9am. I highly doubt that the Director will overturn the decision of the other 2 managers to terminate. I am actually not even counting on it. Plus we will have to wait for the answer anyway. Well-it can't get any worse. We are both expecting this to roll to arbitration. I'm not even holding out any hope that they will overturn the decision. This 3rd step is a waste of time really. The union wanted to skip the third step and go right into the arbirtation phase of this, but they couldn't do that according to the bargaining agreement that they have to follow. So here we are. And I have come to realize recently that T doesn't care unless she is making money. Oh well it is what it is, I guess. I miss her more than ever, need her more than ever but at the same time resent her more than ever. Does that make sense. Okay-Ill go back into hiding now before you all start to hate me for venting so much. I'm sorry-I know you are all probably sick of this issue.

Granite-I saw your other thread. Please let us know how T goes if you feel like you want to talk about it. I am sorry its so hard.

Oh yes, several. Diana, Gloria, Hugo, Bertha, Fran, Floyd, Charley, Irene. I'm a seasoned pro. They don't bother me much.

I'm super nervous. I'm in T's waiting room and I didn't see T's car outside. I also didn't get a reminder call yesterday. I hope I have an appointment!!

Lame right? I know. I can't help it. I swam laps for an hour this morning and I feel too good today to stomp any more than that.
