UGH! Yucky evening! Went to buy an exercise bike and on the drive home the bungie broke and it almost fell out the truck and I had to brake suddenly and get to the side of the road in rush hour traffic and then we got home and the dogs were playing and one slammed into the other and knocked her into the hitch on the trailer. She has a huge cut all the way to the bone across the top of her nose, and all the vets are closed in the area and the emergency vet will cost $700 for stitches. Sigh. Luckily, I have an E-collar to put on her and can do basis first aid myself. And we have some left-over anti-anxiety meds from the other dog's eye injury to get her over the upset of the collar. So. I still have not been on my new bike yet. And I have chatterbox fingers tonight.

Thanks so much! She's a really sweet dog and I hate to see her in pain. Luckily, she is so sweet that she's easy to treat. I think it's more a cosmetic issue than anything else, as long as we can keep it from getting infected.

That is a good policy, and one I usually adhere to, but not this evening. At least it was written earlier in the day.

Maybe it is a therapeutical technique and he is trying to wear you down. Next week's forecast, more grey. lol

It was written before, and sent after. I have had it saved as a draft since this morning.

Hi Wiki, Granite, and TTGB

T was a disaster today. She was not gentle. At least I don't think so. I got so upset at the start I threw my journal on the floor. I have never done anything like that in t. Ugh. Maybe I'll write a post later.
It is important to express your anger.

I just got home from a long and hideous day. My session was hard. Really hard. But at least I finally got out what I hadn't been able to tell him. I hadn't realized just how angry I am with myself.

I'm sorry that you had a bad day, but I'm glad that you were able to get out what you've been holding onto.

More proof today that my therapy's working. At the end of the day of training today we had an assessment of 17 f'in MATH questions. WORD problems no less. I so struggle with math. And we only had 30 minutes. I 'stayed after school' 10 minutes to finish. But how I know t is working is that I didn't start bawling halfway through and run out of the room. Instead I used my tools i learned from t: closed my eyes, took a deep breath, went back down into my body and checked in all the way down to my toes, until I was centered and calm again. Then I did the rest of the test. I am so proud of me. (Well, at least until tomorrow when I see how I did.)

My H was being really great to me tonight as I am not feeling good. Until, my puppy started throwing up. He has thrown up, probably 4 times in the last hour. Poor little guy. By the second time, H got all pissy... Damn dog this, damn dog that. Well, come on.. He can't help it.. He is sick. He can't stop himself from throwing up. So, his answer was going to put him in his crate, in the bathroom with the door shut and let him throw up and let him sleep in it. Come on, how could he think that is okay? So, I told him thanks for being miserable told him to go to bed. So, instead of me laying in bed b/c I am sick.. I will stay up and take care of my throwing up puppy dog.

Why is my H so effing miserable???

he prolly just thinks I am colorblind too. or maybe I am and don't know it yet. I told him he was better than a brother and he laughed and said the bar was set pretty low.
